i used to live in the uk and was constantly told by the British to "return to my country (france) immigrant". i struggled with racism so much that one day i decided to go back to france only to see their king coming to my country and eating a royal meal with our president. as i was try to recover from all the hate i recieved. i truned the tv on to see all those raciest British protesting to return to eu. they should have never left. they made their bed sorry.
6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I'm just so confused. I thought it was discovered that brexit was a Russian psyop, using racism and edgy memes to drive wedges between people to weaken the west by tricking people into voting for harmful policies they believe will make them feel better - as Russia has done everywhere. How was that discovery not immediately the end of it?

doesn't matter who's idea was it. the important thing is that British people were never forced to vote. they did it because they are racist. i remember when i told someone at the port in kent that i lived in the uk for 20 years and was returning home. they were so kind to me, they let me jump the key and have the best place on the coach. they didn't treat anyone else like that. i realised later on it was because they were so glad i was leaving their country. i heard to many messed up stories about raciest British people. my ex landlord told me he was bitten up regularly because he was from india. they abuse other people, the french, the turkish, the Spanish and they go to their countries on holiday like the world belongs to the uk.

Also, despite what your propaganda stations say, British people don't want to be part of the EU. Talk about a failed unaccountable organisation, one which has destroyed Western Europe. Or more accurately, Western Europe has destroyed itself.

+1 yPeople aren't educated to make decisions on this scale. People wanted to leave for tiny petty reasons like getting blue passports. It's also funny how people who wanted foreigners out because they're taking out our jobs never actually took them afterward

foreigners are building British country and paying taxes whilst a good percentage of British live on benefits for free. now that most of them have gone, the British will have no choice but to work the hard jobs themselves. i will be watching from France and regularly laughing.
- +1 y
Yeah, farmers like yourself liked paying 5£ an hour to some child Romulan labour. Don't suppose it actually occurred to farmers to you know, pay a decent wage? If someone doesn't want to do a job it's because the wage is shite. Although to be fair, I'm all for some benefit cutting, too.
- +1 y
@Levin the reason why people in the uk dont want to work is because workers get treated like shit and they get paid more on benefits. British people have no legal rights as workers until they have done the work for at least 2 years. most British people struggle to find work they get paid more on benefits. its smart of English people to live on benefits. they can live a decent life whilst not working and hurting their backs in places like asda tesco and lidle. but then dont kick out immigrants who come here and work those jobs and pay tax to your countries so you can live on benefits. you can't have it both ways.
- +1 y
Indeed, it is 'clever' to be on benefits but also fairly scummy. I work a somewhat professional job and then I see people's benefits claims at work. They often get £2000-2500 per month to sit on their arse and open their legs. Work should pay, not being on benefits. Benefits need to be restricted and tapered off as time goes by so it does not pay to be on benefits.
- +1 y
by the way, I can say confidently, because I see it firsthand, that most of the people I come across on those kind of benefits are the immigrants from the 'third world'. I do believe most EU migrants actually you know, work. And that British people are also guilty of milking the benefit system.
- +1 y
by the way, no one is necessarily against immigration. We're against immigration that is out of control. No one would give a shit if the Conservatives actually kept to the word back when David Cameron was in power and we had a figure in the 10s of thousands. Last year net migration was 606K. completely ludicrous and destroys a country's cultural, social and economic fabric.
- +1 y
@Levin being on benefit is smart and people who choose to claim it and open their legs all day have more self love than people who work like slave for multibillion pound companies like asda breaking their back. its fine to want to stop immigrants from going to the uk but dont espect to be welcomed in their countries after thats all i am saying. the brits gave me and my family abuse when i lived there now we have all retuned to france and we see British coming here buying houses walking on our beaches and skiing on our mountains as if nothing happened.
- +1 y
Well, I sympathise with your notions about corporations. Ultimately, worker's right need to be strengthened and benefits need to be curtailed. I would introduce a 4 day working week for a start, and make benefits taper off so that being on benefits can't be a lifestyle. I would make a statutory minimum of annual leave of 35 days, etc, etc.
- +1 y
@Levin honestly the uk has so much that could improve it. first of all people should be given the right to grow their own food and live of the land. all workers should have legal rights straight away and not wait 2 years. jobs should not harm peoples back. people should not pay so much in education. social housing should be more available especialy now with air bnb housing in the uk is a business. but nothing will change because the majority of British people are uneducated and dont understand economy. they dont realise that benefits are there to stop people from complaining as the government need business to want to trade in the uk but they can't give them a limit of worker to high as they might not want to to trade. there is so much to learn to understand why the government is cutting certain things. when the government give anything to British its not to spoil them. its to keep people calm. the benefits is there for a couple of reason to stop people complaining, to mask the fact their is not enough job, to mask the fact people are underpaid (because if they earn more than people on benefit it will be less obvious) to keep the poor poor so the rich can stay rich. if some people are smart enough to make the most of a bad situation good for them. the brits are being manipulated and are not educated enough to see it. instead of blaming their misfortune on the government they blame it on people claiming benefits and migrants. whilst the poos are fighting against each other over benefits nhs and low paid job. the rich are in their office in canary wharf investing and getting richer.

m +1 yThey just can’t seem to make up their mind. The whole Brexit has been a train wreck from start to „finish“. I guess that is the price you have to pay when you let yourself get bamboozled by assclowns like Boris Johnson or Nigel Farage. 😕
07 Reply- +1 y
they are racist that's their biggest weakness. they make important decisions based on their hate for immigrants.
- +1 y
That’s a factor, for sure, but I hope not the biggest one. I am guessing it’s the British Empire mentality, where they are used to making the rules, instead of „just“ following those of the EU. 🤷♂️
- +1 y
they though that leaving the eu would stop immigrants coming in but now they realised it didn't and that their country is worst off economicaly and that they can't go to their holiday houses in other people's countries so they are kicking themselves. i lived 20 years in the uk and i was constantly told to "go home","your just a guest in out country", "i am gonna send you back home" and yet a hight amount of British people are bying houses in my country (france). now they left the eu macron has decided to teach them a lesson my charging them extra tax on their holiday house that they can't even stay in longer than a couple of days a year because they are not part of the eu.
- +1 y
Oh yeah, what comes around, goes around. It would be almost hilarious if they tried to rejoin the EU, but I‘m not sure if I really want to see that… 🤦♂️

+1 yIt was only a matter of time, when the majority of UK citizen realizes how stupid Boris Johnson and his Brexit was. I am surpised it took them this long.

they can't blame it on borris and nigel farage. they are the ones who voted. i lived in the uk and i knew a lot of Europeans who were told they shouldn't bring their wife and family to the uk and had to return to their country. they had to sell the house quit their jobs. all the Europeans received constant racist abuse. i remember the day when i received the decision letter to tell me if i had the right to stay. i had anxiety at the though of having to restart my life somewhere else. one day i had enough of that bullshit. i packed my bags and went back to france. they love to destroy others life with no remorse but they can't face it when it happens to them.

+1 yPeople forget that the vote to leave was decided by a tiny majority. Most of those protesting to rejoin probably voted to remain in the first place. I can see this looks funny from outside but for those who live here it's not so funny.

+1 yA lot of people voted on Brexit because they didn't want immigration, only to find immigration from non-EU countries skyrocketed. If this isn't a basic example of voting being pointless then i'm not sure what would convince anyone

fair enough you dont want eu people in the uk but why do you come and live in france. make you mind up.

@AngryCarl2 I remember when the EU was formed and thought it was a good idea.
- +1 y
The idea was good enough but there were problems in the execution. Maybe they shouldn't have gone with a common currency.
- +1 y
@AngryCarl2 I don't know how you can get different countries with different languages, cultures and currencies to agree on anytingm
- +1 y
Well it has to be something in their mutual interest, such as a free trade area. The single currency has proved to be a wedge driving nations apart. It would only work if there was a single fiscal policy but nations weren't ready for that kind of integration, which is understandable.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 ySo French is now a “race”?
I mean you call yourself a French immigrant to England. So what race are you?03 Reply- +1 y
i dont know what race i am. i see myself as a human being with no race. i was born in switzerland. i have a french passport. my parents wanted me to learn English so she moved to the uk where i was treated like dirt at the bottom of their shoe so now i am living in france. i dont class myself as having a race. caring to much about race can lead to crazy shit. it has done in world history.
Opinion Owner+1 yYou’re very naive. You may see yourself as not having a race, but the rest of the world does.

i couldnt give a shit about race. people who care a bout race are all a holes. we have the "humain race". we are all humain. the topic of race for for racist people and nazis. i dont take part in that shit.
