+1 yI don’t have any problem with the average Brit.
- I do get irritated with the far left wing Brits that like to spout off nonsense about America because they are so misinformed about America.
- I also laugh at English nationalists who are still butthurt over WWI and WWII because they know that Germany would have devoured them had it not been for intervention of the other allied powers. I think what bothers them is that Germany managed to build an empire in only a few decades that rivaled the British empire which took a couple centuries to build.

Russia won ww2.. They advanced from the east.. Simple, not america or Britain but Russia.. About time Americans stop using that as you won the war, you did not.. America has never won a war on its own.. Britain has had many wars it has won
- +1 y
@brokenheartedx
Russia wouldn’t have won without the lend lease or Germany being preoccupied in Western Europe and Northern Africa.
Had it been one on one, the Swastika would have flown over the Kremlin and Stalin would have been tried for war crimes. - +1 y
@Brokenheartedx
Also, Germany beat Russia in WWI, Russia basically rage quit cause they could stop the German advance. - +1 y
*couldn’t

"Countries blaming their failings on Britain" is code for "we want to keep all the stuff we looted".

The uphill battle to repatriate India's stolen treasures
Germany will return the Benin Bronzes that were stolen from present-day Nigeria, but the path for India to get back its colonial treasures from the UK is still bumpy.04 Reply- +1 y
What a few bits of carbon created over the span of millions of years before humans were on the earth? Well give us the aid money back for their space programs then we will negotiate alleged looted 'treasure'
- +1 y
If it were only a few bits of carbon it would have been returned long ago.
- +1 y
Can we return the people as well that shore up on our shores day in and day out...
- +1 y
That has nothing to do with me. I am not trying to move to Britain. Talk to the folks you consider to be “non-British”. And resolve the claims on the riches that have been looted.
Good luck.
+1 yYes I hate it, being blamed for slavery we used 30of our gdp to abolish slavery in other countries, it has been illegal to own a slave since Cromwell

What it really comes down to is most of the world wants to blame Whites (mostly British and White Americans which are mostly Irish, German, and British) for all of their problems because if you examine history and are HONEST/FACTUAL about it, most other cultures are nearly worthless compared to a few White cultures. We created almost everything that exists in the world made by Humans. The only other cultures that have many noteworthy accomplishments are some Asian cultures. Most people's cultures around the world though contributed next to nothing and benefit from what Whites and Asians accomplished.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI just like to shit talk the UK because you fucks look down your noses at Americans and think your own shit doesn’t stink. Your country’s obsession with America, its people, politicians, government, and media is pretty fucking weird to say the least. I don’t sit around opining on the Tories or Labor or what some chucklefuck MP is up to, I don’t give a fuck! But you bunch of louts are all, “Ooooh, did you see what Ted Cruz said? Hand me another biscuit! More tea!”
Its fucking ridiculous. I assume you all have your own culture and your own things to fucking do, but maybe that tendency towards empire is just in your goddamn bones. You can’t help but look across the ocean and wonder about the savages. Buncha bastards.

You're taking the piss, wtf is Ted Cruz and why would a brit be saying did you hear about Ted Cruz? Nobody here gives a fk about Americans its forced on us by media the monotonous shyte that emits from your country non stop
Opinion Owner+1 yHoney all you fucks do is piss and moan constantly about America and its politicians and people. One asshole on here will even start talking about the election for Governor in goddamn Arizona. And he’s a fucking Brit!
Get a life people. Goddamn.
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yBeing Irish myself I do believe the British government through the encouraging sectarianism, persecution, decades of bad governance caused the troubles which cost the lives of many. The British army shooting dead British citizens in British streets was tgae catalyst. But that's all in the past and Ireland north and south are moving on. Southern Ireland is a major success story.
If you look at the problems that countries that blame British for their problems you see that most of those problems have nothing to do with the British empire. Take India today, their biggest problems today are related to the unequal division of wealth and the caste system. India rather than fix their problems blame the British.

m +1 yIt‘s more the latest of every-country-for-its-own sentiment, which then presumably brings out the need to settle old scores. In case of the British, anything about colonialism. In case of the Germans, anything about the Third Reich. Poland just presented us with a bill for 1300 billion € reparations. 🙄

Then were would it end, britain billing Germany for the blitz... Its ridiculous. It be a never ending of suing countries

Some countries have called us savages, the same countries who have videos online of them burning to death their elderly relatives for their land... Yet modern day Brits are the savages.. Couldn't make it up
- +1 y
I think it's more about certain populist politicians riling up their gullible followers against "the enemy", domestic or foreign. Kaczyński against Europe-leaning Poles and Germany, Trump against Democrats and Mexico/China/Iran, Bolsonaro against Lula da Silva/"Communism"/ecological activists...
+1 yNot people from Britain, but I do have anti-Tory/Conservative party sentiments, ultimately their internal power squabbles by a bunch of rich spoiled aristocratic deviants resulted in them playing political games abroad that resulted in political unrest and in some cases thousands of deaths. Ireland is a prime example of such games.

+1 yA lot of that going on now a days. People attempting to put blame on countries for stuff that happened between 150 and 500 years ago. It is wrong and it is further dividing us. If it happened that long ago and it isn't happening anytime even near now, move on. Let's all go back to being friends.
