Should I take a plea deal for a crime I should possibly beat?

So I've been waiting 5 years for my court case to end and it's driving me slowly insane. I have been told now for the past 3 years they will consider give me a plea deal I've have had zero issues while out on bail. I just got told by my lawyer & the other side that they will 100% give me a plea deal for 5 years and will send it to me once they write it up but that was 3 months ago.

I am truly going crazy I have been denied my right to see my discovery despite asking to see her for years now.. am sick of waiting.

I am aware that the star witness in the case aka the victim refuses to testify against me and actually wants to defend me in court. The star witness did not decide to charge me it was the prosecutor himself. The star witness ended up calling one of my friends awhile back. She does not want me going to jail she has refused to talk to the cops and wants to defend me in court. The Prosecutor knows she will not testify against me but doesn't know am aware of this and my lawyer has zero idea about this.

I have had two charges dropped by the prosecutor without a explanation I was facing 20 years now its down to 5 years. I am wonder if they are offering me a deal because they know they will lose without the victim help.

The only Evidence they have is some photos and a 20 second video with no ones face in them that the victim refused to acknowledge was her. The Prosecutor still doesn't know am aware of any of this. The victim wants to help me because she feels bad for what she did but no matter what I still break the law should I be punshed over a lie? Is no face no case true with the victim on myself? She's 22 and has two kids
