They shouldn't be handed F16's! Ukraine is very corrupt. The US and NATO are getting involved in something they shouldn't be involved with. But then again, the New World Order elites and scumbags in power in NATO and the US currently have ties to money and back room dealings with Ukraine. Not to mention their human trafficking!!!

The Russian military is rigged fight a war against the air-force heavy west. So they have a large amount of air defenses.

The F16 can not overcome theses defenses, if the Ukraine's other jets could not.

@maxusefull Yes and countless other systems. Drone's are a very effective weapons due to their relative low cost, small size, and expendability.
If you can take out an S-400 with inexpensive drones why do you want F-16s?

@maxusefull I have not said the F-16 would enable the Ukraine to turn the tide on Russia which would be reversing my argument. I simply observed that Drones are more effective weapon given the mostly antiquated Russian Equipment isn't designed for their unique capabilities.

The Ukraine would in both cases require a great deal more of either as well as people to fly them to have any real chance against Russia. To that end The Ukraine is still better off with the drone as a single pilot can at least in theory handle many more of them.
In practice the Russian's would not have any easy way to know Non-Ukrainian pilots were flying said drones as well.

The F-16 is only superior to Ukraine's current aircraft in that they are more updated with more modern electronics. This comes at the cost of preparing airbases that can fly them which naturally would also be a easy target for Russians.

Unlike western Jets Russian Jets can take off from roads and less than ideal conditions. This is because they are built to fight this kind of ground war which like World War 2 for the Russians involved constant attacks on their territory. Western Jets are built with the assumption that our own airbases are not generally not under attack and largely out of range of the enemy.

This fact limits how the Ukraine can use the F-16 in this kind of war. The drones by contrasts are small and require little in the way of resources. They also operate differently.

Probably just shoot them down. Ukrainian's only have a couple months training in them compared to year's the Russians had. It's like trying to pass your driving test in a different car.
