Disagree, but they should have their license by that time in my opinion

Lol, I'm almost 33 and don't even have my license yet. Now I'm getting it - since it's first now becoming an inconvenience for me, however that will likely not mean that I'll be getting a car, since I do not need one in my private life and would therefore rather be without that expense.
I might say they should maybe have their license by 25, but can't say they have to have a car. Some people have some kind of trauma that we don't know about. I have a friend who has been scared of learning to drive for years because she has bad memories of something that happened in her past. Some people were in an accident and feel scared of driving. And some people might also have learning disabilities that make driving hard for them.
They should definitely have a drivers license at that point in their life. Some folks choose to cycle, or utilize public transportation, but in the event of an emergency, an individual needs to be able to drive and operate a vehicle.
in america yes. in Europe no. i love walking. i am planning to get a car but honestly i will miss my long walks. i can walk all of the uk on feet if i want to. people think i am a freak for it and that i should get a car but seriously they should mind their own business.

Absolutely not. All depending on where you live, you might not even need a car at all.
I got my first car earlier this year and I'm 28.
People have different needs and living situations.
I didn't have my own car till I was 29. I wanted to save my money and I didn't need one. At the time I lived in a city with adequate public transportation and two grocery stores in the area delivered.
maybe in rural america but if you live in big cities especially in like Europe you really dont need a car. its a waste of money. i live in Europe and most people if they live in cities dont have cars, cos good public transportation & ubers
i think it's different in countries where people generally drive everywhere but i don't think it's a requirement to have your own car, maybe having a license but even that's not too bad
I think it depends. Are they dependent on other people for rides? If so then that’s a red flag. As an adult , you are responsible for your own transportation
Having a car is so irrelevant I live in an area that has a great subway system so a lot of people don't have cars
Depends on the city. I also know people who've been in car accidents and don't feel comfortable driving anymore
Disagree. A car isn’t a necessity for everyone.
Some people like myself can’t drive because of medical reasons
Ditto
I have epilepsy.
Myopericarditis and spinal compression
The asker of this question should have thought a bit harder before posting some people don’t drive because it’s too expensive and others don’t because of medical reasons
I get it, but having a car also depends on where you live.
No it's normal. I don't have a drivers licence. Driving is not for everyone
Why on earth would that be a red flag?
I don't know, I feel like some women say that, about potential partners, and such.
That it's a deal breaker, if they man can't drive.
I agree. our society is based on the automobile.
