Because it´s an artificial label invented by academia not in life. People don´t like being labelled by someone else as something that seems to be unnecessary and not a part of general conversations. The problem is that was invented to give those people that don´t identify as trans without asking them if they actually wanted that.

It´s nothing I´d ever use to identify myself.

I don't know if "hatred" is accurate. However, I do think that it very much deserves whatever scorn and contempt it receives regardless.

The fact that we now have a special word for what ten years ago was just a "man" or a "woman" and did not have to be verbally defended with facts and logic is absolutely ludicrous. I think that it's an attempt by the left to make everyone LGBT and I am not going to play that game, let alone by their rules. They are not going to force their special classifications on me because they want them for themselves.

Not sure. But it's just a word usually used in trans and non-binary/genderqueer places to refer to people who aren't. I used to use the word cis when talking to some of them so they could understand better. But now I no longer use the word cis for myself.
