By placing a label on what is absolutely a fact - one is either male or female - it’s attempted to establish and normalize the idea that all gender identities require a title. They want parity with a biological man or woman and since their delusional beliefs absolutely require a label to explain who/what they are they want to force a label onto things that require none.


There is no need to label something that is immediately apparent. I would not say “this is my cis-species dog” or “oh, are you cis-blond me or did you dye your hair?” It’s just ridiculous.

It's a compound word comprised of "gender" (which has a pretty set meaning) and "cis", which is a prefix meaning "on this side of", as in Cisalpine Gaul. So it means "on this side of gender", which doesn't make any damn sense. I suppose it could be used to mean "of my gender", but absent context, that's meaningless- I mean, who's talking?

It's a word. Like any word it's only bad when used out of the proper context. So if it's been used more than 1% of population then it probably is been used out of the proper context.

I've never once used the word, and 99% of people shouldn't have to either.
