I used to be a person who want girlfriend by can’t get one and this situation bothers me for a long time. What is lucky is that I am not a person thought the world owns me a girlfriend and hate women because of this. My choice is calm down and think about myself. And what I found is that I want to have sex is because in my subconscious being a virgin is shame for me,( not for somebody else), and I want to “prove” myself and I want a girl to be with me. I suddenly notice that my really requirement is build confidence and satisfaction for myself, but I want to achieve it by having sex with a girl. After knowing these I trained myself to learn how to live along. This what I really need. Learn how to live along will tell us what we really need to be happy in our life, and will help us get into the relationship we really need instead finding a girlfriend just finding.

I hope my experience will help some incel out of their trouble. They may do not need a girlfriend, they may need to learn how to find confidence on their own. We find relationships not for compensation but for “1+1>2”

it is my belief that its too broad of a subject to accurately summarize. I think this self proclaimed incel stuff is closer to Autism, in that its more of a spectrum with different levels requiring different approaches, than it is a singular disease that has a nice simple cure.

From my experience some just seem to need a little intimacy in their life and could potentially turn things around with a better environment. This could come from a more nurturing parent, a friend, maybe even a puppy.

Other stories seem to come from people who would benefit from a better self awareness and view on reality. I dont know what could help these guys but i hope they find some balance.

Then there’s the militant, dyed-in-the-wool, no coming back, full on hardcore incels. These guys have their beliefs so ingrained into there thinking that it goes beyond an askew view of reality into outright complete and total misinterpretation of reality. They may be too far gone for help.

So whats the solution to the problems that they say they face? Hard to say. Which level of incel are they at? Are they defending rape? Do they need a hug? Its a broad swathe to cover and just because one answer helps one doesn’t mean it will help another.

The other half is due to being 100% against political censorship because it is never a good idea no matter how sweet and good you make it sound. We live in a society where people the government considers people who dare to think our schools are sexualizing our children by introducing sexuality as young as elementary school or younger as terrorists. There is no way in hell a censorship effort like that, especially if it is based on a term as subjective as "extremist views", will be used fairly. If such a thing were to come to fruition, you're better off just scrapping the internet entirely.

Even so there is no evidence that incels are even a terrorist group, especially since it is weirdly the only "terrorist" group that no one wants to be a part of and are mainly just casted there by society itself because they. Our media just took some (7 at most within the past 10 years) going crazy as proof that they all 100k+ of them act like that.

However, my point about monitoring online spaces is more about being aware of dangerous ideologies that promote violence, not suppressing political views.

Regarding psychologists, while no profession is infallible, many psychologists, psychiatrists and others in the mental health field work hard to help people cope with mental health challenges. Their insights can be valuable in understanding complex issues like this one.

I also dont believe that video games or guns are the sole causes of these issues. My focus is on a comprehensive approach to prevention which includes education, mental health support, and community building.

I acknowledge that not all incels promote violence, at least not yet. I do think it’s import to differentiate between those who hold extremist views and those who don’t. When it comes to criminals like Elliot Rodger, I believe he may have had mental health challenges, but I also believe he was raised poorly in an environment that taught him to be spoiled and entitled. He was a 23 year old KID who seemed to believe he deserved sex, and that’s a big problem that I actually see everywhere these days. Regardless, my suggestion is not to label everyone under one umbrella but to provide resources and support to prevent any potential harm.

It has been 24 years since the Columbine shooting and if the term "incel" was a thing back then, you know the media would be swarming the event like moths to a lamp with that word. While I am glad you are not the type to jump to blaming guns like the media likes to do every time a non-white shooter shows up, I think the solution you are providing is way too broad. All we need to do is ask ourselves "what is causing so many people to lose their minds like this?" and go from there. When I see these situations, I think the people who cause these massacres have found themselves hating the world we live in for whatever reason, like being an outcast and have delved into dangerously unhealthy coping mechanisms.

In the far more likely case of suicides, I see them as people who either feel like they are burden on others or that they feel that they have no good future. They say suicide is selfish but to the suicidal, they think they are doing the world a favor.

One of the reasons I believe that these incidents are increasing is that it is socially unacceptable to being these up because people confuse them as condoning their actions. It is not a matter of sex but social value. Our society views men more favorably if they have a girlfriend which is often mistaken for sex because that is all we see relationships as now. Hence why we are so wrapped up in the term "incel." If these incels have money, then they can pay for a prostitute as a way to vaccinate themselves from the lack of social value but that isn't how this works. So called incels really want companionship from the opposite sex, preferably a romantic partner. They want social value and they are angry because they either can't get it or don't know how.

I don't agree with everything MGTOW says but I will give them credit for them providing the best solution I can think of given the premise: teach men that they have value outside of what women think of them, that they should work on themselves for their own sake only and not for anyone else. Even if they are destined to die alone, this method can help them come to terms with it.

This idea that all this violence is based on the lack of sex is one of, if not the main reasons why we still have this male loneliness epidemic. It doesn't solve anything, it only drives them further underground. Censorship will do the same thing, no matter how good the intentions are.

We have things like #MeToo which has done nothing but only further damage the credibility of accusations of sexual crimes because it makes weapon that is the court of public opinion even more powerful by making their accusations public instead of just the court system.
