Yes. There would still be crimes, battery and murder and everything like that, but there would be much higher chance of being able to run away, fight back, or even survive any inflicted wounds—including suicide attempts.

Guns are the most efficient tool for violence, and efficient violence is the most dangerous and lethal kind. We should be trying to make violence less efficient.

No. Without guns, aggressors would rob, rape and murder the weak. At least guns level the playing field and give weaker, more frail people a fighting chance. And it usually only takes the sight of a gun to make an aggressor back off.

Nope. Because for one the media doesn’t tell you how many lives are saved each year by guns. Two I think because we have certain weapons other countries really think about whether they want to make a stupid move or not against other countries. Three, even if guns and weapons didn’t exist people would still find other ways to harm or kill others.

Thats a stupid take tho. The point of taking away all weapons would be that the barrier to violence is lower. A guy with a knife/gun infront of me wouldn't need to think twice to take me on but if we are both unarmed thats a different story.
