I would move to a non-woke state that respected the constitution and people's self-evident, unalienable rights.
I live on acreage in a rural area for a reason. I might want to hunt for food and you never know when you might have to defend yourself.
Food is becoming expensive. What if much of it disappears from markets? Klaus Schwab and Bill Gates are grooming us to eat bugs, right?
What if the electrical grid went down for an extended period of time and it was impossible to call police, and people ran out of refrigeration, fuel, food and transportation? Some people might resort to drastic measures like murder and plunder in order to survive. There are things that could cause society to break down. Who knows?
I don't have fire extinguishers because I expect to have to use them. They are just a precaution. It's the same with guns.
I have no respect for those who impose their self-righteous, short-sighted opinions on others and who trust Big Brother government to protect them.
If banning guns works so well, why do the cities like Chicago with the most restrictive gun laws have the highest rates of gun crime? And if Big Brother is so good at protecting us, why is it that 80% of firearm related homicides are gang related? Do gangs obey gun laws?
I could go on and on about the gun issue. Gun Control is about disarming Americans, NOT saving lives. People who support increased gun restrictions are unthinking victims of propaganda.
At present, "gun free state" means a state in which law abiding citizens do not have guns. If you mean a state in which NO ONE (other than law enforcement and military) possesses guns, I do not respond to absurd and impossible hypothetical questions. Do you want to suggest a way in which citizens could be assured that criminals did not possess guns?
I think I would feel safer in a gun free place.
I’ve lived in two countries- Georgia and China, both are gun-free and both have been very safe for me in terms of violence and criminal.
However, my dad often tells me stories from 90s when the Soviet Union was newly disbanded, he and his friends had lots of guns and everyone had guns, not just guns, but rifles and grenades.
He always had to fight and he always had to carry his gun with him too, because one day some guys went to his garage with RPG-18 Mukha and they wanted to take some things from him, my dad told me he opened up grenade and told them, they would either “f*ck off” or all of them would blow up including my dad. They left of course. But isn’t it crazy to have to protect yourself this way?
So, that was an insane time and he now feels much safer that guns aren’t allowed in Georgia so easily anymore. I do feel safe too.
I don’t know about the US but in my country I wouldn’t entrust guns to most people.
However, he still has a right to carry the rifle due to his occupation.
Only when he is on duty.
Growing up with tank gun matchines, guns, and anything that the military use for war, well I grew up in this life style. My thoughts on gun being safe or not doesn't bother me either way, there's other ways people can hurt you without guns... so I would feel safe with out guns or with guns.

Having guns around makes things more dangerous in general. Easier for arguments to escalate. Police are on edge, likely to shoot for fear of being shot themselves.
It a way its safer even if only criminals have guns because they are less likely to commit murder in the middle of a robbery if they don't feel they need to.
Its not a big deal to me - I'm far more likely to die of cancer or heart disease than of gun violence, but I think I'm less likely to die of violence in a state with fewer guns
I would feel safer in a state where only police and military carried guns. That will not happen since the right wing is so attached to their guns. So I would like to see some sanity by having background checks and not allowing people with mental problems to have access to guns.
No! As we've already stated dozens of times, bad guys can ALWAYS get guns no matter where they are!! If they've got guns and we don't, who's gonna protect us or fend off the assholes when they decided to try to take over the town? What are we supposed to do, noogie them to death? Tell on them? Tell them they better not do that or we'll hold our breath?
I don't care much. Myself, I find firearms for ''personal protection'' to be pointless.
But -admitted- I'm lucky enough to live in a reasonably civilized environment.
In my life I have faced people who intended to quarrel with me - bullets would not have changed the outcome.
Unfortunately criminals don't obey laws. I used to live in England for a time in my teens, there was always the present danger of the grooming gangs there. England is basically a gun free zone. One parent while trying to rescue his daughter from a grooming gang was arrested.
Those are my guns that’s all I need
I would like guns to magically disappear. But I also want the country to be free. I think there's a middle ground of regs for people who love guns and killers and suiciders.
I bought firearms a year ago. I feel safer now that I have them.
I live in a gun-free country and guess what, no shootings. 🤔
No, I wouldn't for the simple reason that violent criminals will still have them.
No. Wicked people are going to be armed with a gun wheather legal or not.
We need stricter gun control.
No. Gun criminals don't obey the law.
No thanks.
