Spending as much time as is humanly possible with my husband and our two adorable and precious children... Slowly but surely building our lives together.

This of course is very closely followed by having quality time with both our loving and supportive families.

To me? Good food. Top of the list. For sure. Then, Swiss timepieces, Scotch Whiskey, British suits, French wine, American guns, Cuban cigars, Jamaican coffee, and a small list of other amazing luxuries.


The ‘finer things’ to me imply material luxury but none of this matters in the least without family, freedom, honor, and most of all God’s blessings.

When I hear that term, I think of luxurious possessions and experiences that only abundant wealth can afford.


Staying at 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, and exotic islands.


Flying private jets, riding in nice limousines, or a Rolls-Royce.


Dining at Michelin star restaurants while wearing a high-end custom-tailored suits.


Enjoying extravagance, comfort, and luxury.


All for a pretty penny. ✨

I see a lot of people here have associated that term with what they actually view as most valuable in life. In that case mine would be this: Quality time and meaningful experiences with the ones I love.

The phrase is obviously referring to expense luxury items and experiences - 5 star hotels, gourmet meals in high end restaurants, expensive clothing made from exotic materials, private flights, etc.

There was a TV sitcom about a decade ago called Ground Floor, and Season 1, Episode 4 is called The Gift, and it's about the finer things in life, and what's REALLY important. If you can, give it a watch.

A bacon cheeseburger with extra bacon from Red Robin. I had that for the first time last Saturday and it might have been the best burger I’ve ever had in the history of my entire existence. Then again, that American consumerism is hard to pass up, unless yourself for your surroundings it's a poor city or poor state that you reside in, then sympathies. Then again, America sure is, I'm a sucker for retail therapy aka shopping. America has many negative things. Yet their brands are iconic the world over, though they're still American. It's a 50-50 love, fall out of love, constant I'm sure juggle. ❤️ Or 💔
