Do you ever fear being hacked on LinkedIn?

I believe God gives me gut feelings cause my intuition told me not to post personal things on Facebook and later I was hacked on it.

I also had intuition telling me not to communicate on LinkedIn cause it could very easily become public knowledge if I’m hacked or investigated.

I have never felt scared to post on this GAG site because it’s understood to not be a professional display zone where employers reserve the right to view you.

I feel when your on social media like Facebook or LinkedIn, everything you say is a loaded statement and if you can’t 100% verify your claim or rub any shoulder the wrong way with your behaviour, it could get broadcasted to the entire world and convert you from a respected member to a vilified target. It’s why I have chosen to conceal my personal life, even if it means living in total isolation from well intentioned peers.

You rather mean doxxing, not hacking. Hacking would mean they take over your account. I would never use Facebook etc. because my private life is private, but professional pages like LinkedIn are useful for many jobs. The only people I have seen getting in trouble there are those who lie about their military record (stolen valor).

Don't use (anti) social media like Facebook or any other. My video edit station is off grid ( also completely useless for hackers)

There is a website with my portfolio so clients can see what I do but can only be visit if the password is provided to that client... 😄
