Do you believe in gender roles?

I know people can do as they please but do you personally believe genders have roles? In one topic or in general

Yeah, I believe they exist in the sense that both genders generally have certain preferences that stem from innate proclivities or tendencies for how to conduct themselves relative each other. Guidelines/prerequisites for access to certain social benefits. If people claim that they don't exist, then they clearly aren't good at pattern recognition. There are many negative consequences to "not acting your gender" & people aren't afraid to dish them out.

I don't really need to get stupid about that nonsense

but, I do refer to the stupid "modern take" of "gender roles" and how angry and inadequate people use it to just hate each other because they are not capable of just being happy with and around the other gender

Yeah, gender roles exist because men and women have different strengths.. In the past, those strengths helped each other to cultivate society.. Now that life is easier we've gotten to a point where people think they aren't needed or outdated.. Yet, people still practice them all the time..

It takes a significant degree of dishonesty and self-deception to believe there are not significant differences between the sexes. That doesn't necessarilly support all gender roles, but there are some that make sense.
