Sure, if we are talking like 6’4” and up but you should not be getting arthritis if you got the surgery just to get to 5’8”. And 99.9% of women case lose weight without surgery, even the ones who opt for lipo typically could have lost the weight without surgery it just would have taken a lot more time and effort

@JHAYES317 I was thinking sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and gastric band surgeries. These surgeries are recommended to people who would struggle with conventional weight loss means, because their stomachs are abnormally massive leaving them constantly starving if not corrected. They are risky, uncomfortable, and have side effects as well.

People get joint problems from being tall way below 6'4". I don't know any short people, 5'6" or smaller, with joint problems in their 30's. But, I know teens with serious joint issues starting at 5'10".

But the percentage of fat people who are in that boat is less than 1%. And I have joint problems at nearly 5’7” in my 20s…and unlike the weight surgery which is a health thing, there is no health benefit to being taller it’s just a social status thing so it is highly irresponsible to recommend a surgery that could cause arthritis and is solely cosmetic. But hey, give me 200,000 and I’ll consider it.
