Do you think that the Abrams will make a difference in the War in Ukraine?

I know a lot of people have pointed out that the German Leopards have failed to break the stalemate and most rankings give the number 1 spot for best tank in the world to the Leopard.

But, "best" is relative to the situation and while the Leopard might be better in most situations with it's greater agility, the Abrams does have an advantage when dealing with entrenched opponents. The gas turbine engine on the Abrams may be a gas guzzler (but this isn't as big of a disadvantage because you can put any combustible liquid in the tank and it'll run) but a low speeds, it gives you way more torque than a diesel engine like that on the Leopard would give you. Since tanks will be plowing through Earthworks at low speeds, this gives the Abrams the edge in positional fighting (not to mention the ranges are shorter so there will be less strain on logistics). This advantage is compounded because it a leopard hit a patch of rough dirt, it will have less torque and get stuck making it vulnerable to an ATGM but if an Abrams hits a rough patch and slows down, the engine will give it more torque and it could push trough faster. How big of an edge will it give? Well, it depends on how well Ukraine can organize their armed forces but if done right, it can be devastating (look up the Bulldozer Assault)

The assault breacher is built on the chassis of the Abrams and it can go through dirt like a plow through snow.
