I used to think 'Palestinians' were oppressed by Israel but now I know, for certain, that it's not true. You are correct about the study but I think even more people somewhat supported it. It is sickening to think of an adult man marrying a 9 year old girl and that ANY religion would allow that (I have heard about this many times before). I thought Israel turned off electricity and many of their telecommunications have been out, how in the world would they be able to conduct a fair and accurate survey. Also with 80 percent of the resident displaced or dodging bombs I doubt they got a very good sample. I used to work for a polling company so I know a lot of about the data gathering process. Like someone else mentioned people would fear retribution from Hamas for saying the wrong thing since they control everything. There is too many areas for bias to happen. That being said I would have no doubt that some people condone the killing of innocent Israeli's just to prove a point just as some have said it's okay to kill innocent Palestinians since terrorists are hiding among them.

There's a lot of overlap, as the poll indicates. Hamas doesn't do their terrorism without help from Palestinian civilians. Would they store weapons and ammo in children's bedrooms and other civilian areas like schools if they had to worry about civilians not cooperating with them? First of all, the last election that happened in Gaza was in 2007-which means that much of the population (and the segment of the population, which is being impacted the most by atrocities-children and youth) were not born yet, or were toddlers at that time. They sure weren't able to vote for Hamas. Of the 50%, who could vote (adults), 75% actually voted. Hamas won with 44% of the votes. Multiply this and you get that actually only 17% of the population voted for Hamas and that was 17 years ago! It's extreme that some people actually think it's justifiable to hold a 2.2 million people hostages in a small area in the size of an American town, starve them, take away their water and medicine, while constantly and indiscriminately bomb them for 2 months now. They've been bombing indiscriminately all areas of Gaza, even the supposedly safe one, in the South. After completely destroying the North, internally displacing more than 1.5 million people and asking everyone in the North to evacuate to the South, because they claimed that the North is a combat zone. Now they're asking people in the South to evacuate to Rafah (which they've also just declared a combat zone). Next they're gonna tell them to go to Egypt. Their goal is to ethnically cleanse Gaza and displace Gazans into Sinai.

Also, the UN nations and International amnesty have repeatedly investigated "human shields accusations" and found no evidence to back up that claim. This is just an excuse to justify a genocide.
