This is war, people will die from it as they always have. There are two reasons that the Palestinian death toll is so much higher:

1. Israel has a much better trained and well-armed military.

2. Hamas likes using Palestinian civilians as human shields by putting their bases of operations in civilian population centers and not letting them leave war zones. They want high civilian casualties so they can blame them on Israel and get gullible bleeding heart morons like yourself to call for a ceasefire so they can plan the next intifada without those pesky Jews interfering.

You should ask Hamas that- they are the ones killing Palestinian civilians and getting them killed by using them as human shields and deliberately trying to get them killed for propaganda purposes.

If you really supported Israel and Palestinian civilians, you would be advocating for the removal of Hamas (or at least a surrender on their part). Instead, you're citing casualty numbers that come from Hamas and also include civilians Hamas and PIJ either deliberately got killed or killed with their own errant rocket fire. Hamas also used slave labor to build the tunnels that the terrorists use to protect themselves.

So when will you start advocating for the demise of Hamas, Odd?

This is an intractable situation with no perfect solution. Palestinians had the opportunity to evacuate the area before the fighting started. Again, not a perfect solution but when a bus hops the curb and you have the opportunity to jump out of the way you need to take it.
