My morals as I was growing up largely came from those who raised me: morals are a social construct, not an innate one. They’re subjective, not objective as religious people would like to believe. That’s why one person can argue that the death penalty is morally good, while others can argue the opposite.
As I grew up and was able to reflect on what I believed, I adopted the humanistic and consequentialist perspectives: basically, morals are (or should be) objectively based on wellbeing, and that actions have consequences.
If something is morally good, it progresses or supports wellbeing, such as giving food to a hungry child, or helping someone with their homework. But then you might ask, why not just do things that are beneficial to my wellbeing, why care about others, and that’s where you get into the idea of consequential. My actions have consequences. If I hurt someone else’s wellbeing, that leaves me feeling upset as well, so therefore I have an obligation not to harm others, and to promote the wellbeing of all people such that my own wellbeing increases.

That's actually an amazing question as a lot of highly religious people think that people that aren't religious are immoral, which isn't necessarily true. There are a lot a immoral religious people out there too. I can provide endless example, if you want.
For me, it was from my late father. He was far from perfect but he was moral. My mom isn't a moral person, at all. She stole things in front of me as kid, for example. She also lied a lot, etc. I had to overcome all of that, it was difficult.
My father just believed in helping people, often to his own detriment. He was a healer and wouldn't charge people who couldn't afford it, he took the homeless out for meals, etc. I witnessed his actions and learned from him.
This really shows the importance of good parenting and I think it's honorable that your father was the core of your moral mindset, I'm glad you've learned from him and not from klepto mama 😅
"klepto mama" 😂 To be fair, she is now fully aware of it and I don't think she steals from stores, as far as I know. She's a very selfish person and doesn't think about others but deep down, I think she might have some empathy for people (that aren't me). She treated me horribly but my father was generally a good person deep down. I was always closer to him so after he died of cancer, I helped my mom until she pushed me to the limit, taking advantage of my grief. Now we don't speak and I'm good with that. Life is more peaceful.
Well even the bible itself says to separate from people that will drag you down, sounds like a effective step for you, I'm pretty sure if there was any other way, you would've taken It, but your father seemed like a good man, God bless his soul, he raised you right tho, before his passing he planted a seed in you and it's been blooming ever since, and I know you'll pass it down your family tree 🙂🙏🏽💯

Some non religious people get them from the idea of whatever doesn't cause harm is good. And whatever causes harm is bad. Also popular vote, society decided that something is wrong, and it is written in law. But as soon as you move to another country where that wrong thing is ok, then they view it as being right. They don't have any foundation that claims to have come from the creator. So they haft to lean on other people's opinions, science, etc. Which makes much of subjective. But through experience, if something is working for them, then they probably tend to stick with it. Now a person like C. S. Lewis would argue that there is a creator, and that creator put something inside of everyone, so that they know right from wrong.

Everyone has morals. It's human nature. You learn as you grow up. Oh saying mean things to someone makes them upset? I don't like being upset so I don't want to make someone else upset, therefore I won't do that. It's trial and error and just being a part of society.
I can see your point doozy but I think you have a lot of gray areas that need some coloring. instincts are in our human nature but morals are more of the mindset that forms by following these instinctual feelings, we are born with instincts that help us feel the right and wrong but with enough shit being implementing into the mind, it corrupts it, it's like baking a cake, no matter how much sugar you put in that cake, if the rest of the ingredients are shit, the cake will be shit, I understand not wanting to upset people but sometimes upsetting people is the best result then the path they are heading in, I definitely agree with not upsetting people just to upset them but if you gotta hide the truth to protect their feelings, I believe you are doing more harm that way, sometimes the truth hurts but the truth is never wrong, it keeps us in reality, for example if I can't sing for shit and I think I could sing like Adele and you lie not to hurt my feelings and tell me I'm good, that lie will get to my head and next thing you know, I'm making ears bleed at the America's got talent auditions, where I'll be humiliated, mocked and laughed at for my terrible singing, if you would've just been like "bruh your singing is shit" I would've taken offense to it and be upset but then later on I'll know not to show it off like I got something to show.

You see, blaming God is the first mistake of blindness, there's good and evil, you blame God and forget about the one behind the evil, Satan, satan got you right where he want You, blaming God for his work, God loves us but it's spiritual basics that God doesn't intervene in free will unless you personally ask for guidance and protection, that's why prayer is important, you can read the bible all you want but God isn't in the bible, that's just his words, God can hear you with or without a bible, it's easy to blame God for everything but if humanity listened to him, everyone would be in a better place, it's the lack of following directions that put us in this position everyone is at, it's our own faults, take responsibility for your sins, not blame the creator for your imperfection.
If you just let go of that hate and try to not rely on your own understanding all the time, you would see yourself, that spirituality exists, don't forget that our creator is nothing like us, you don't understand him completely and you never will, our minds weren't built to comprehend such levels of understanding, it is impossible, it's why the bible mentions not to rely on your own understanding, we are imperfect and make decisions of that imperfection, we don't know everything and we never will, I hope one day you'll realize the truth on your own and see what I'm talking about.
I don't blame god, I can't blame something I don't believe in... faith is not a substitute for logic and evidence in a developed society... give me evidence that your particular brand of a diety exists and then we're cooking with gas.

Well for starters believing in a loving God that came down in the form of a human to die for our sins because our sins made us invalid for heaven and him being tortured, humiliated and killed to then resurrect to pay for the price of our destructive way sounds like a loving God and it sounds like a liable past of our history over a God of the ocean or lightning, cause God is God, he's the God of everything, there is a zeus and Thor but it's the same God and it's the same God that died for your sin thousands of years ago, really think of it, do you really believe everything that creates existence was made by nothing for no reason, since when has anything ever happened for no reason what so ever, is it hard to believe that God made everything and made us and then paid our dept of sin and inspired humans to write a book to influence the rest of the generations to come? I don't think it's something out of this world cause it literally isn't, it all happened here on this planet, if you have any questions I can try answering them with what i know so you can get a clearer picture, I know the bible doesn't always seem clear but it's the truth without a doubt, all It takes is for you to accept Christ as your savior for shedding his blood to pay for the depts of your sins, you yourself can connect with God but you gotta let the thought of physical evidence go and be open to the idea of personal spiritual evidence cause you can only believe in coincidences for so long before you realize there's no such thing.

Also explain why Jeaus had to die for sins to be forgiven, if God is all powerful, then he could forgive without a blood sacrifice... and to that end, you want me to believe that he created the rules, but because he created the rules he then had to send himself to be sacrificed to himself to make himself happy... if he were all knowing and all powerful he would have been able to avoid the entire rigamarole... seems like a bloody Rubes Goldberg machine.

My morality - like everything else about our personalities - is continuously created by the experiences we have. No one is constant.
Television WAS the great teacher long ago - long before there were personal computers let alone the Internet.
TV educated us in the way by enabling us to travel showing us the lives of other people and other places all while staying at home thus being the incarnation of this Mark Twain quote:

So, yes, I did get quite a bit of my morality from TV but, like I said, also from my experiences in the real world... And, at 60, my experiences are far different than yours - I have lived in ways that you cannot imagine because you are only aware of a small segment of time.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, as Twain said, but the provincialism due to one's geography alluded to in his quote also applies to the provincialism of time. When you've lived only a short time like you have, you have a "prejudice and narrow-mindedness" that is (hopefully) eradicated by living decades and experiencing so much more.
