Why is there only middle aged men crossing across our border?

There aren't; kids and women cross all the time. But you're taking in media trying to send a specific message, and adult men don't get the empathy that women and children do, so you're conditioned to see them as a threat. You're also being pushed to see a poorly-guarded border as a threat (not an unreasonable idea, at least in the abstract), so they only show you men. It's also why they refer to them as "military-aged males"; you need to see them as something other than human, or you won't be afraid enough.

Well you are dealing with cartels who will steal your family for sex work to start with. Then cross the border very dangerous water to drowning and then desert crossing. Then finding illegal work and working like a dog without rights to get enough money to your family to fly in.

As a man with some semblance of self respect would have to go help my family survive first and foremost.

It’s not just men. Often they tend to take the risk more than a woman would, because she’s probably a mum and it’s deadly. I don’t think people are aware of the lives some of these people had in their countries. I’ve heard first hand from some and it’s truly awful, hence why they’d rather die trying to leave than stay.

It's military age males and they do NOT qualify for asylum. 99% of the people Biden is letting in, do NOT qualify for asylum. The FBI is warning us of another terrorist attack on American soil, and sadly enough, it needs to happen.

Or more specifically, men come first, then they work hard and send money to get their women across, then they both work to send money for their children. It used to be $5,000 per person to get across. So, this made the most sense for how to do things.

Some do. Some don't. Most are here to do bad things including to the woman. Cause we're weak and vulnerable.

No, it would be a waste of money for them to come here to do bad things. The vast majority come for money since it costs them a fortune to get here. Plus, they could do far worse to women in their country with less chance of getting in trouble legally. That doesn't even make sense.
