Those are some strong words, are you from Ukraine? Are you subject to this draft, are you from Russia, do you have any skin in the "game" or are you just parroting an idealized version of what war should be and what it is. I have been to war and let me tell you it's; boredom, waste of time, injuries (mostly from weather & carrying heavy loads), being bossed around, treated poorly, returning to a civilian life with PTSD, homeless, and of corse a chance to be maimed for life or un-alived. And all this for what?

I would have been fine with the mandatory conscription had it included women also but it didn't. Women are free to leave the country and never return. There are Ukrainian women now who have left for W. Europe and are attending parties and enjoying their lives. What happened to the womanist movement there? Why aren't they advocating more women join the armed forces? - They can vote so they have the rights of citizenry but not the responsibility.

I have been to war and therefore I will never judge a man who does not want to participate in it.
