I doubt it given the way that the Dem's have a habit of trying to gerrymander to get the results they want, I can see repeats of what happened in Arizona happening across the US where the Dem's are already in office

Have you looked at Wisconsin, recently? Biden narrowly beat Trump, and the governor is a Democrat (so the state as a whole is Democratic majority), but Republicans have half the state's US senators (fair), 75% of the state's US representatives, 66% of the state senate, and 65% of the state Assembly (unfair).

Arizona actually has a fair redistricting mechanism, since it was taken out of the hands of the legislature in 2000. There are currently more Republican state senators and representatives than Democrats, although the statewide offices are held by Democrats.
