Why are people afraid of the supreme court deciding the election, it already happened, in 2000?

The culprit, as always, was Florida, and we literally saw the supreme court, decide the presidency. A republican, by the name of George W. Bush

That's exactly why people are afraid of it, especially with this ultra-Conservative line-up. You have Thomas who doesn't have the decency to step down who's completely bought and paid for (you should have believed Anita Hill). Thomas is the biggest disgrace up there now.

You have Alito who refuses to recognize ANY ethics or boundaries should be in place for justices. You have Kavanaugh who flat out lied during his hearing. You have Amy Coney Barrett who was pushed through by the Repugs during an election year when they all PROMISED to never do such a thing!

Yes, decent people should be afraid on them meddling in the election process once again.
