That is having fear of fat people. I've had some bad experiences especially being under 5ft and thin. I've been bullied by fat people, sat on, fallen on, bulldozed, shoved, stamped on, knocked over.

Don't get me started on airplane seats, train seats and movie seats. Like yeah I'm small but you could buy a 2nd seat to avoid squishing me in my seat.

Seems a short girl's natural enemy is obese women.

Are you just b naturally single out or gave cause to have all that happen to you, I'm thin myself and I have not encountered any of that, but I don't have any issue with anyone, treat all I encounter equally, and as long as I'm given same level of respect I will do all I can to accommodate someone due to their size or what ever to make them comfortable even at my own expense, but I understand what you mean some people are just naturally on the defense from what they have experienced in past so sometimes you just have to over look a rude stare or comment and be empathic towards them it's not right for others to be so rude as to stare you down because your not normal in their eyes, we need to be more tolerant and help each other out not attack silently, we must put ourselves in their shoes to understand why they react as they do at times, and it's only preemptive response to get it over with out the way, the stares the remarks you know what I mean, in not knocking you in anyway and my comment may be off topic but I just wanted to try to have you see this from another view and not feel like you're being single out by fat people, and maybe if you have another encounter it won't be so uncomfortable of an experience for you, or you can say I'm full of crap and ignore my comment, I take no offense, now I'm being pre-emptive lol, how thin are you like runway model thin just curious

The only problem that I see you having, is NOT joining the fat people, in the current march to morbid obesity. Gotta' keep that in mind every day. I went to my Orthopedic surgeon for a low back evaluation, and he was surprised to see me at the weight I am. (I am 5'8 - 140 lbs) He said most of his patients my age are 100 pounds overweight.

If you watch TV commercials, the participants are mostly all grossly over weight, and my Masseuse said that being overweight has or is becoming 'normalized" THAT IS WHAT SCARES ME THE MOST

As an 18 year old, the only thing you should FEAR is losing your 'view' of how you want to live your life and HOW LONG you want to be healthy and active.

Obesity is an epidemic in this country. That is very frightening to me, Alice.

Lol, I used to go out with a fat person. I mainly went out with him because of his other traits like I thought he was a good, kind, non-judgemental, even smart person with a lot of similiarities as me, but it turns out I was wrong. And yeah, his size DID intimidate me at first but I tried my best to be matured and open minded about it so as not to pass up what might be an actual good union. Man, lol, nevermind.

Only thing I fear about fatness is just me gaining weight. I work to maintain my figure. That said, I'm not about to body shame anyone just for having some extra baggage.

Also, partly the reason why I fly first class. More so anything over 4 hours. I'm 5'11" and having that extra leg room is soooooooooo much better! Flying say from NYC to Orlando, I'm just hunting down the emergency isle.

I'm 5ft 11, 70kg, 11 percent body fat. I work extremely hard to stay fit. So yes, you could say I'm not exactly sympathetic. The annoying thing is that I'm made out to be a freak in society cause apparently I'm too skinny. Apparently it's weird to have a six pack. *shakes head*. Topsy turvy world we live in.

They're on a power trip because they're insecure about their weight and so they want to force people to respect them.

I wouldn't say I have a phobia about obesity. I know weight gain can occur for a variety of reasons and genuinely feel bad for those who struggle with weight issues, despite trying to address the issue.

No but im scared of getting fat after I gained weight during pregnancy lol. Even after I lost it, I still have nightmares of being swollen like that again.

I've had 2 kids and pregnant with third and I kid you not since getting pregnant with my first I've gained and can't get rid of any fat, I'm always feeling disgusting and my partner's always telling me otherwise but it's hard after having children.

I feel like my body swollen after my kids lol. More my tummy I think. Even more annoying that I don't even eat that much so was hoping some would go away but being pregnant again I'll need to wait till this ones born lol

Have you ever considered like carrying a turkey leg around with you? I mean if you run into this problem again you can just throw the turkey leg like a person does to a dog playing fetch. Then the fat person will run to the turkey leg and you can run to safety.

I'm definitely 'Fatophobic', in that I'm terrified of being with a woman who doesn't weigh at least 200 pounds, and I prefer her to be heavier than that, if possible

1) You will have to catch me to do that, I am fast, I was one of the top sprinter, in my school.
2) Since you are fat, you are not fast!.. I can punch your throat, poke your eyes, kick your nuts all at once in 2 seconds.
3) All I need to do is a long jump between 2 disconnected spots while you are chasing me like jump 7 feet or more. Then stop and watch you do a detour, or fall on your ass while jumping.
4) But if you are angry and chasing me, I will make you run 300-400 meter in under 1 minute... And when you are out of breath!.. and since your body lacks muscle, my body will catch up breath faster than you. The exhausted you will be so vulnerable that I will whoop your ass, Kicks to the face, one after another!.
