Why are people against having children these days?

Kids mean responsibilities for the next 20 years. Emotional and financial.
Not everyone feels responsible enough to take care of someone else's life and well-being. Some want to have a comfortable life without additional disturbances. And some simply didn't like their childhood and don't want to do it to someone else.
As many people as many reasons.
Their lives, their decisions, their consequences
It's appreciable that these people decide to avoid having children because they doubt they can be good parents.
A lot of women want to get a degree that doesn't get them a job before they will consider having children.
I would also think a lot of men would think long and hard on the wisdom of having children with a woman who will unilaterally divorce them in 8 years.
Feminism, and it's africa who is having too much children, overpopulation, not the west.

Too expensive
Too many absurd rights for children to raise
The world is much more stressed at work and more insecure about the job they have.
Housing is extremely expensive and difficult to afford, so you cannot ensure a stable space for a child's harmonious growth.
Men have less and less rights in marriage and divorce.
I have a daughter that is in that category. She does not want to have any children. I've asked her many times and her answers change many times. I think it she does not want to have that rearranged mom body. I personally think she's very selfish.
If they really were, then why is the world population rising and rising? India just became the most populous country.
"Against" having children, or choosing to not have children? Because they can.
The Left has people thinking that there is somehow an over abundance of people in the world. However, that is a population control tactic. As they think fewer people are easier to control.
Overpopulation is becoming apparent and people are finally seeing it
Cost of living to income ratio has tanked
