in general humility has nothing to do with leadership except that a humble person won't make the necessary decisions so humility is very harmful for rulers.
like a major on a battle feild waiting for his general's orders instead of manuvering then his troops get killed.

Yes. For one God hates an arrogant person.

And secondly, a person that is humble is willing to listen and learn as a leader doesn't know everthing so he must be willing to humble himself to be instructed instead of just doing whatever he feels like doing or think is doing is right in his own eyes.
