Why do Americans lack humility?

German and Japanese people showed great humility after losing WW2. Granted many individuals didn't not show remorse for their atrocities, but the people overall did.

But in America, you'll find marginally more Nazi sympathizers than in Germany, and somehow a move to take down a Confederate statue led a protest where they chanted "Jews will not replace us" in defense of it. I get the feeling that Americans just love being angry whether it be PC SJW's or people who just are Anti-PC SJW's

It’s because in America their antifa is more fascist than actual fascists, it’s all fucked up in that country, I know because I’m in Canada and America’s bullshit slowly leaks up here, so basically you just got a bunch of nazis that are somehow against each other

There's always more racial friction in a country with all the races. Marching in the street organizes your support no matter what you stand for.

@Moonlight234 I'd say Nietzche is a big part of my personal faith and that's what I think he teaches. Strong people have no reason to humble because they can do what they want without being stopped. Weak people have all the reason to humble because it prevents them from pissing off the strong and get their face-stomped in.

That's why humility is a virtue for weak people and a vice for strong people.

I'm on a very extreme side of the spectrum. So I expect that to sound horrifying.

@Moonlight234 Nietzche's religion is kind of laid out in Thus Spoke Zarathustra where he layed out the Ubermench as god and compared him to the devil.

And as for morality, there are many moralities, everyone has one whether atheist or not. What is evil for one person society is good for another is evil for another. Humility was a virtue for Christians because the early Christians were barely a step above slaves in their society, if they pissed the right Romans they would get executed or fed to the lions. To the Romans, with a very different morality, there was nothing evil about the whole thing--they even paid to watch it.

There are all kinds of people in the world many with terrifyingly and nightmarishly different values.

I think when people feel too free (regardless of how real that is), they tend to forget how or why someone else could not be as free as they think they are.
