Politicians brag about how great they are.

Rappers brag about how great they are and how rich they are.

Athletes brag about being the best at what they do.

It seems that if you're humble, people think you're cheesy or lame.

The Bible says the humble shall be exalted, and the exalted shall be humbled, but even people who profess to be Christian brag about themselves.

Yes, but it's not a problem. Be bold, loud, and proud! If you got it, flaunt it!

Yes, it's all about self-promotion and self-congratulation. People are just more vain and self-important

No. Humility is still valued.

It depends on who you ask.


To the undeveloped, it may look weak.


But to those who understand the importance of good character and value personal growth and authenticity, humility only earns someone more respect.


A person with bad character will take all the credit for their accomplishments.


A person who is humble will go on stage and thank and acknowledge everyone that has helped them along the way.


The latter will gain more respect than the former.
