@lightbulb27 The first time I didn't vote at all. My side-chick at the time said she was voting Trump and I told her "Why bother? the elections are rigged and it's just going to be Hill dogg and feminism and war will take over.

Then it happened... he won. The same chick asked me how I felt about it. "I don't know, but this is going to be interesting."

I watched him... eventually, I joined in on my commentary. I hated certain things... like bombing of Seria or trying to ban vape flavors.

I voted the second time for Trump. He lost... and we got what we got. Now I'm all out, voting for Trump again. I would for Kennedy, but let's be real... that dude isn't going to win. I want my tax return to look good again... I want realistic taxes to go down again. I want to keep my propane stove. I'm tired of high gas prices and high prices for everything slowly going up. I want Trump again.

... and fuck Ukraine. It's obvious Biden is making money of money being sent there just like he did during Obama as VP. Fuck Joe Biden is my overall feelings about everything.

I think the veil has been pulled back so far on the secrecy of the white house and of the presidency, that we can't unsee it. Anything can be dug up from the time you were born until now, so there is no pure shining light that the country used to believe our president was supposed to be or at least to believe in the illusion of it. Now, both sides, are wanting to win so bad, they actually don't seem to care about the actual job anymore, just who can be on top of the pile.

There isn’t 1 person in politics that’s totally honest. To use a famous movie quote “the truth? You can’t handle the truth”.
Politics is all deal making and if you had someone totally honest he/she would never come out on top of any deal. As an example dealing with North Korea. You can’t tell the leader of North Korea that if he does this or that you will retaliate with bad words… you have to make a threat that whether you mean it or not sounds real.
When it comes to up and coming natural disasters the citizens want to hear that you are prepared and if there are problems your government is ready to deploy all necessary first responders.
The last thing citizens want to hear is the truth… well, we don’t have enough police, fireman, or first aid workers and when this disaster hits you are all fucked!
Truth is something I feel strongly about but it’s something that doesn’t work well in politics.
