Why aren't artificial wombs the number one priority of feminists?

The last major inequality between men and women is childbearing. Shouldn't feminists support technology that liberates women from it? That way childbearing will be a burden on nobody and women will be viewed beyond their reproductive capabilities?

I’m not a feminist but after being on gag and other online forums I’ve learned a bit about their positions. So the issue for feminists and pro choice non-feminists is not so much about just the ability to bear children but the choice to bear children. I’ve met of plenty of women who want to be pregnant, give birth and raise children. They just want to choice to do that and if birth control fails or whatever and they have an unplanned pregnancy they want the choice continue it or end it. Artificial wombs wouldn’t change that aspect of choice unless the embryo could be re-implanted in an artificial womb.

What would you say is the point?

Because artifical wombs would replace one of the only two things modern women offer men anymore. Those things are sex, and procreation. The artificial wombe would do exactly what feminists fear, which is put women in a position where the only thing men want from them is sex.
