Is it wrong to tell people they are biased?

I tell people they have a bias if I see it. Some seem to get insulted.

Wrong, no. Pointless, usually. We are all "biased". But I see the world such that there is objective truth outside of one's perception of it, greater than opinions or subjective experience. So, could one be biased by principles that are based on foundational truths but are counter-culture... Perhaps. In that instance, who is really "biased"? One might then choose to define a bias as an opinion or perspective which is colored by ones limited experiences and spheres of influence that shifts their world view away from principles which are true. So perhaps bias could be summed as lies we choose to believe.

Everyone is biased. Just keep in mind when you're pointing out someone else's biases that your perception of those biases is also biased... and so on.
It is physically impossible to witness objective reality completely unfiltered. Everything is an indeterminate mix of reality and illusion... and that is the only way it can be.

... Also most people tend to be irrational monkeys who screech and start flinging metaphorical dung if someone disagrees with them on a topic they're highly invested in. Humanity is like a circus menagerie, and there is no changing that.

Nothing wrong with it, people just get annoyed when they are called out like that because they don't like being wrong on the subject. Me personally if I'm being bias or hypocritical I want to be called out. I may not like it but it is better than being those things.

Not if you have some reason for it. If it is more in the nature of an allegation than no. I have opposition to illegal immigrants getting on boats to come to my country. You might take my opposition to be based on bias whereas it is based on more rational precepts.

Kind of, bc they're just gonna get cognitive bias over it. Think of when you tell someone something and you see the lights turn off and on in their head before they disregard what you say.

The walls will just come up, so it's better to fight the bias subtly

It depends on the context. To come out of the blue and pry until you get answers to afford a label of your making is an assault. To be engaged in conversation ligitamatly and stumble upon something that twists your panties then have at it.😎

It's pointless to call someone biased because everyone is. But if they say something that's factually wrong you're certainly entitled to call them out on it.
