If biden is able to "cool" inflation why not in 2022 and 2021?

the news companies praise biden for "cooling" inflation. coinciding with the election year... but if he only does "whatever policy" to "slow" inflation (but still double rate 2020 trump policy) for reelection... then once reelected he can do his original goal... repeat 2021 and 2022?

huh? biden started in 2021. he gave bad handouts and huge spending and printed far too much money... causing SEVEN rate of inflation IN 2021 his FIRST year.

Yes, in the FIRST year but, up until then, there was no inflation, according to modern terminology. By that, I mean, gas WAS $1.89 but, if Joey hadn't cheated and Trump would've been allowed to have his rightful second term, it'd probably be back to 50c a gallon, by now, maybe even lower! But, back in the `60's, it was no more than 25c a gallon! So, we HAVE had a fairly drastic inflation since then to raise those prices up to what they were before Trump's first term. Had it not been for that fake economy crises in the mid to late `70's, I doubt the prices would've even gotten THAT high before Trump took over.

Then the government can only indirectly affect prices, and that takes time.

I don't know. The US economy is doing better than most other economies, and that was with Biden as president. Are you telling me that no other president would take credit for improvements in the economy?
