I was very upset reading healthline website and it saying, ‘did you know gender is a spectrum.’
What is this idiocy. The funny thing is that’s it’s only women that fall for this garbage mostly

I'm going to answer with scientific facts. There's only two types of chromosomes. Chromosome YX that can only be found in male individuals and chromosome XX that can only be found in females. Let's say you die and your body is found in a million years. Only your remains will still be present your physical appearance will be gone and no one will be able to determine if you're a man or a woman, however, through DNA tests scientists can easily find which chromosomes you had and determine if you're a man or a woman. Even if you're a transgender you will never be able to produce a chromosome opposite to your gender. If you're born a man you'll die a man regardless of your physical appearance and the things you went through to look a certain way.

You can't change your physical gender and it is in pretty much every case binary, in my opinion.

Psychologically, I get the idea of a spectrum. Like, truth be told, I probably see a lot of female traits in myself. But that doesn't make me a woman. Chopping off my bits and pumping me with a horrible concoction of hormones doesn't make me a woman. It's probably reflective of how far that we have fallen that this can get you seriously ostracised as well as being harmful to your whole living for thinking this.

It doesn't make sense to me even from the social constructionist view of gender since if gender is a social construct completely independent of biology, then it can't be limited to just a spectrum. The possibilities are endless.

If it is dependent on biology, then there isn't a spectrum in biology. There are anomalies but they don't fall on a spectrum.

I think there are two gender roles that stem from the biological sexes, the typical male role which traditionally works best for men, and the typical female role which traditionally works best for women. Tried and trusted sort of deal, but not a fit for everyone. So then they mix and match traits from both roles as they see fit which is fine. Some choose to label them all as unique genders but I think thats counter productive and goes against just being yourself.
