Does no fault divorced need to be banned?

No there is a need for it and it should remain. It allows greater freedom to leave a person or mutually deciding it is not working. There is a longer lead in than with normal divorces. It was something that was needed, as getting proof was often hard, as at times there was no proof just a huge amount of suspicion.

Either that or abandon the idea that there exist a "marriage" because the 2 concepts are not meaningfully compatible.

No fault divorce doesn't really make much difference, because a woman just needs to find a divorce lawyer to coach her on how to lie about her husband. There are thousands of divorce lawyers who specialize in that, and the courts always belive them. So whether there is "fault" or not, a woman can always manufacture some, and they do it every day accross Amercia.

What do you get out of "Marriage" under such terms that neither party need any reason at all simply to walk away from the commitment?

Marriage was suppose to be a very costly security arrangement for the benefit of children and the woman that biology has required do much of the work in making them.

Take away that security and you just have the cost which more and more people are rationally opting out of, leaving children if they are lucky enough to exist at all hanging facing disastrous consquences with no security whatsoever.
