Should no fault divorce become banned?

Why, or why not? Maybe if the couple has children under 18 it should be banned? I personally think it all depends. I think it should be a state thing also like if Texas wants a ban but California doesn’t it should go like that.

The only thing worse for a child then divorce parents are living with parents who should get divorced. That was how my house was. They were even good just dating but living apart. Shit always got worse forcing strangers expectations so fuck them.

Also it can but ultimately won't be a state ruling because we have freedom of movement. People travel to get married as per their rights and that divorce standard is going to be the same.

Ultimately that's how gay marriage went to the supreme court. It was legal and illegal in the same judicial court system. Here's a map

You can't have something legal and illegal in the same roof of law so it went to the supreme court for the final ruling of such a contested notion.

Also no fault marriage was legalize by ronald reagan. So maybe figure out why not fault divorce was needed in the first place from someone who hated government intervention as a campaign slogan.

If you want to have a meaningful institution of marriage you can't have no-fault divorce.

Although at this point, "marriage" has been soo completely redefined by our cultural leaders into a meaningless "institution" for most of the population. We would be better off reintroducing the original concept of "marriage" under a different name.

Let the people who actually want the respect of committing to security for their children alone get that for actually making such a commitment.

While the people who simply get what the state currently calls "marriage" should be treated as idiots wasting time and money for no reason.

I really don’t think criminal acts should be the only reason a divorce should be allowed. Keep no-fault divorce so people don’t have to get false charges just to leave a spouse they no longer want in their lives.

No fault divorce is what ruined marriage. Marriage is basically glorified dating now because of no fault divorce. Marriage means nothing as long as no fault divorce is a thing. This adds to so many men losing everything in a divorce. Which is why smart men don’t get married.

No, just ban asset transfer and alimony. Make child custody a default 50/50, so no child support is required. No one should feel trapped in a marriage.
