Firstly, it’s the citizen having the right to control their reproduction.

Second, 80-90% are in the first 15 weeks so not sure what Down syndrome has to do with it.

It is control of resources. Republicans don't have the same concern for children that normal people do and want little girls to be raised as property to be bought, sold, and above all controlled like any other resource.

Nothing us free. Better to make it affordable, it costs $20 for the contraception pill for a month, probably will cost $70 to taxpayers if it is made "free" or it will raise healthcare premiums. If you can pay $120 dollars per month for your i-phone you can find $20 per month for contraception.
Probably the sane story as viagra, antihistamines, most pain pills etc all that stuff drives up health insurance. That was a big problem with obamacare, it was seen as a free for all with stuff like penis pumps being handed out just because...
