I've seen so many videos of citizens shooting robbers. I laugh so hard at thugs tumbling over themselves to get away, or lying on the floor dying, or hearing of them dying in their cars blocks away, or showing up in emergency rooms and being arrested.

There have been some great videos of foiled home invasions or store robberies. Unfortunately, I can't find any now by googling. I assume that Google has a policy of not showing instances of successful defensive gun use by citizens because it would support the fact that guns are indeed useful for defense. It wrecks the narrative that guns in the hands of citizens are useless, or worse, dangerous.

Canada is FUBAR. Trudeau is a tool of the WEF. The last thing the WEF wants are self-empowered citizens. That's why its elite minions have been pushing gun control in the U. S. for decades.

I read of a survey of violent criminals in prison that found that they are far less afraid of the police than they are of the possible presence of normal-looking citizens who may be armed. Armed citizens are equivalent to undercover cops. And they are, on average, more judicious in their use of firearms than police. I can't remember an instance where citizens caused collateral injuries.

I support concealed carry and I oppose most "gun free zones" because that's where murders go to shoot people like fish in a barrel.

@lightbulb27 I don't know, I was just speculating about Canada, but someone tried to steal our car there in 2007, and the police just said, "Welcome to Canada."
My cousin got his car stolen one time and didn't even bother calling the police.
So no doubt that these kinds of things skew the crime statistics, but yes, it seems to be going down the path of the U. S. and the U. K.
Our politicians are so stupid, but what makes Canada's situation worse, is it's actual cops who want to do this. I worked around law enforcement for over 4 years, and a lot of cops seem to have gotten lazy.

It's the same situation with white police deaths - nearly all of them involve criminals posing a direct, deadly threat.
