The important Independent voters will be frightened at how far the Biden Administration is willing to go to win the election and vote for President Trump.
I think this is somewhat moot now. Considering an appeals court reduced Trump's necessary bond to $175 million, he should be able to come up with that. So, this case will go on appeal. If an appellate court refuses to take the case, then Trump is in trouble and he'd need to come up with the whole thing which, by then, may be closer to $550 million and that's regardless of him being President or not.
Trump's larger problem is his criminal cash for hush money. That case starts on April 15th and will be in the news every day. He may win that case and that wouldn't surprise me. However, it may be in his best interests to take some kind of plea deal like he did in the 1970s over housing discrimination. This is because 1) he saves money on lawyers, 2) the constant press about the case comes to an end, 3) like he did 50 years ago, he can deny actual guilt since he wasn't convicted.
Remarkably, Trump may come out unscathed in pretty much everything except the two civil cases (E. Jean Carrol and fraud) in New York.
Ironically, I think Trump's biggest problem is abortion. A lot of female voters are still pissed and that includes in red states. Today, in SCOTUS, there was the oral argument in the mifepristone case. Likely, the conservative group in that case will lose by 7-2. However, if the conservative group wins (opinion to be announced in late June or early July), that will really enflame female voters against the GOP.
It will probably strengthen his campaign because people think that whenever the law goes after Trump that Trump becomes the victim.
What part of that is not true? Nobody has ever been prosecuted for whatever it was they prosecuted him for. The judge found him guilty before the trial started. He was denied a jury trial and the amount he is supposed to come up with is a figure designed tonmake it impossible for him to come up with it. He is the victim of a crooked justice system.

All other real estate developers do the same thing yet the Trump Corp is the only one to get indicted for it. The Governor of New York even assured all other corporations who were considering leaving the state that they would not be treated like the Trump Corp. It was a special case. I do not know what happened to "equal justice under the law" but I guess when you are a democrat you can make up the law to suit your immediate needs.
Believe it or not he did nothing that any person would do when selling real estate in New York. As a matter of fact, every person that has sold a house or property in New York has done the very same thing Trump has done. If you have sold a house or property, you have done what Trump did. You put a value on the item you sold. Buyer comes along says too much they value it at a lower price Trump sold it for an agreed price point both are satisfied. Also, That is the Judge does not have a value clue to Trumps property... He valued Mar Largo At $18 million and a2 acres of land next door with nothing on it at over $22 million. What James has done is to make real estate. A very big target for what you value the property and what James values it at she will prosecute you for what Trump did

@Avicenna When something appears in print it's libel, not defamation. To defame someone is to destroy their reputation via means other than in print, ex. town gossip. Libel cases are generally much easier to prove than defamation cases, due to the fact that the evidence for the former is easier to obtain.
