+1 yBecause a sperm and an egg do not have souls, but the second they fuse, god is right there, creepily watching you having sex and high-fiving his pervert buddies –without your knowledge or consent– to inject a soul into the barely formed zygote... scratch that, I mean child, of course.
For you see, god, in all his glorious wisdom, does everything he can to impose unwanted children upon their christian mothers, in order to ruin both their lives. It's a means amongst many others at his disposal to perpetuate human misery.
Indeed, a world without human misery is a world that does not need god, and that is bad for business.
God likes to be pointelessly cruel, much like a psychopathic 10 year old torturing little animals. He created the bodies of both men and women, and made sure to make them in a way in which sex would be greatly enjoyable, both physically and psychologically. At the same time, will smite if you ever masturbate and he wants you to refrain from having sex as much as possible, unless you're married or want to have children.
Also, he will have you believe that it is wrong to use the morning after pill or abortion, if you're in a situation in your life where having children would guarantee decades of poverty, misery and hardship for you and your offspring. He wants you to suffer the consequences of having been a STRUMPET.
It is wrong to murder a child conceived only a few hours or days before, in cold blood while listening to Black Sabbath played backwards, using curse words and reading aloud ancient satanic rituals in aramaic, as the protocol –required by law– dictates in most states' planned parenthood clinics.
It is however righteous to murder, bomb or otherwise maim doctors and medical personnel who provide abortions.

Asker+1 yWhich is absolutely absurd.
4.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. They try to make it sound bad because it’s the pill you take after unprotected sex, and it seems some people fundamentally have the attitude that unprotected sex should be met with “consequences.” It’s essentially doing what the regular birth control pill does. Well, now there’s an attack on regular birth control too.

Asker+1 ySmh it's all so dumb. I don't get why there's an attack on either.

+1 yBecause they're religious zealots looking to force their beliefs on everyone else.
America is now pushing to enforce the Comstock Act of 1873 which would make both abortion and contraception illegal. You could also argue it would criminalise sex education65 Reply
Asker+1 yHow is it termination of the pregnancy when it's just preventing ovulation from occurring long enough for the sperm to not attach to the egg?
- +1 y
People claim it's abortion, but really, it's just a potent mix of sulfur and skunk spray. These toxin-infused ovaries don't actually die but mutate like a chicken in a gas leak. Some of them morph into pungent body odor, while others become a mild tumor that sits in your brain and causes feminism.
- +1 y
@_pig_droppings_ This is either kind of funny sarcasm or appaling disinformation so mind-numbingly stupid that it makes you wonder how you can even function on a daily basis.
+1 yThe morning after pill does not stop ovulation it delays it. If you are already ovulating the morning after pill has next to no effect. The morning after pill works best when used before you begin ovulating as sperm can survive up to 7 days in the vagina/uterus/cervix. As always the best way to avoid pregnancy is to not have sex. In addition the morning after pill is designed for a woman's ideal weight meaning for women over that weight it has severely reduced effectiveness. The M. A. P. is designed for a woman weighing up to about 150 lbs. Or apx. 68 kg for EU ladies. Over that amount and pill is far less effective. Below that amount by a fairly large margin and it increases side effects.

Asker+1 yWhich is why I have Flo. It tells me when I'm ovulating. I don't have sex while ovulating. I have sex days before and take the pill right after and it's worked so far. Been using it since November.
- +1 y
Still risky. Better to do it 8+ days in advance sperm will be dead by then. But least you are being smarter than most women
Asker+1 yYes it is but we do try to have sex 8+ days in advance.
1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. All plan b does is make cervical muscus thicker to kill off the sperm and also pushes ovulation to later time. It is by no means a abortion. Only a complete idiot would think that.
by the way plan b doesn't always work if a woman is already ovulating. I'm currently pregnant right now with a plan b baby 😅
63 Reply
Asker+1 yYep I am very aware that if a woman is ovulating already then it doesn't work. I personally try to have sex before I start ovulating and use it before I start ovulating. So far I've been very successful with using plan b and not getting pregnant and I hope to God it stays that way for a long while until we're ready to have a child.
Asker+1 yOh dang... I'm sorry. I sometimes have irregular cycles as well having pcos but lately they have been regular and I hope it stays that way so I'll know when I'm ovulating.
+1 yMiseducation & guesswork assumptions of young people through word of mouth that's perpetuated into the next generation & other generations to come. It's like the high school rumors that people in their 30's, 40's & beyond still believe about celebs & schoolmates that aren't even true; it's the same principle. Heck, maybe they never took the time to read the package to understand & acknowledge the process of how it does what it actually does. They just knew a baby wasn't coming & that was good enough for them.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yPeople need a purpose in life. They see themselves has guardians of the unborn. It is a narcissistic, ego trip. Their idea is life begins at conception. Plus, they feel empowered by dictating what others do with their bodies. They are also dictating whether or not people have premarital sex. Again, a narcissistic, ego trip. Now, abortion as birth control, nope. Partial birth abortion, nope. If a girl is pressured into having unprotected sex, she bares some responsibility. Her parents bare some responsibility. The boyfriend and his parents bare some responsibility. In that case, if the girls life isn’t in danger, have the baby and put up for adoption.
Narcissist don’t care about the effects of taking a person’s rights away from pro-choice women.
No other person should have any control over what adult women do with their bodies.00 ReplyIt's because the mainstream media consistently refer to it as the 'abortion pill', and they have a well-known reputation for getting things wrong. Another example: the 'God Particle'. It's got nothing to do with 'God' (whatever that is). It's the Higgs Boson ya dummies!
10 ReplyBecause it is... I also didn't know that for a long time, I thought it's more innocent and couldn't understand why some people made such a big deal about it.
The pill doesn't stop the egg and sperm from meeting, therefore you have a fertilized egg -> a new human being. The pill just stops that fertilized egg from sticking to your uterus walls and therefore causes it to die. It prevents pregnancy, not fertilization.

+1 ybecause fundamentally people do not understand how this pill works. people believe that it "stops pregnancy" but it just stops ovulation. people need to be educated about the fact that the pill after will not "abort" an ongoing pregnancy.
13 Reply- +1 y
people need to understand that all the pill does is prevent conception "given" that ovulation has not already occured at the point of taking the pill.
Asker+1 yExactly. I don't understand how people don't do the research. A little Google search will tell them this.
- +1 y
yeah and i'd go as far as to say that actually most people actually do know that. it's just the internet does wonders at hiding the "normal" behind a vail of mundanity while pushing the outrageously idiotic minorities to greater and greater public exposure. making us feel like people are dumb, when really the internet just promotes the few dumb people cause the algorythms favor stuff that generate attention. normal stuff doesn't generate much attention.
The right are stupid people! Just like they think abortion is murdering babies! Um a missed period or a clump of cells is not murdering babies! They need to mind their business and not their bodies. If they don’t believe in abortion then they don’t have to have one. It’s ridiculous this high wannabe holy rollers trying to control women and their bodies! I’m voting blue for women’s rights this Nov!
00 Reply6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Because "life begins at conception" is just a handy catch phrase. What they mean is "slut! Be condemned to poverty for daring to think you are allowed to enjoy yourself!"

+1 yTechnically it is, but it kind of is a stretch, since that is not what most people mean by the word "abortion"

+1 yMaybe because it’s preventing a pregnancy from occurring? I don’t know… I try not to get involved in the whole abortion debate because I like being a virgin. 😅

@whirled_up_girl apparently he's not getting no pleasure that's why he's on here arguing the point with us.
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yBecause you are intentionally causing your body to reject a fertilized egg. For those who believe that it is a baby at the moment of conception, it would naturally be abortion to them.
31 Reply- +1 y
But it doesn’t cause your body to reject a fertilized egg.
That’s not how the morning after pull works.

- 1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.

As soon as the sperm joins with the egg, a human life is created. And the definition of an abortion is the murdering of a human life in the womb.
15 Reply- +1 y
So what you’re saying is, you don’t know how the morning after pill works.
Can’t say I’m surprised tbh. - +1 y
Of course I know how it works. It murders the fetus.
- +1 y
To be more accurate, the person who administers it murders the fetus. The pill is just the weapon they use to commit the murder.
- +1 y
@RingOfFire
Thank you again for confirming you do not know how the morning after pill works.
But honestly, it wasn’t necessary. We heard you when you were wrong the first time. - +1 y
And you don't understand the English language. It doesn't matter how it works any more then it matters whether a murderer used a knife, a gun or poison to murder someone. The pill is designed to and it does result in the intentional death of an innocent living human being. That's called murder.

00 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Ignorance of how it works. If the ova has implanted it can't be affected

+1 yBecause if you believe that life begins at conception (as Science does) then any intervention to end that life is equal to an abortion.
10 Reply11.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Because technically it is abortion. It prevent the fertilized egg, which is arguably alive, from implanting in the wall of the uterus. It can also block ovulation or prevent fertilization.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yBecause it prevents the embryo from implanting on the uterine wall. If you didn't get pregnant from sex you wouldn't need to take the morning after pill. Ending a pregnancy is abortion; even if it is in the first few days.
00 ReplyBecause if you are pregnant, then you end the life of another separate (completely different DNA) individual; hence abortion.
