Do you feel patriotic at the moment?

You don’t have to be American though I am. As I type this a spark of joy has been rekindled. When I start to lose sight of what we have in the U. S. I turn back to history to be reminded of our humble and precious beginnings. I know it took war to secure those beginnings, but unfortunately we always have to fight for what’s right.

I was born in the US and I still love it. I might not agree with some politicians, but I don’t hate them. I vote for who I think will be the best, unlike some that thinks “oh gees it my party I must vote for that jerk”. This is why the party system should be abolished, then maybe we would be a family.

The thing I am most proud of is the United States constitution. It is the closest document we have to actually stemming the tide of corruption but it doesn't quite get there.

We have free speech and the right to defend ourselves with firearms. That's pretty damn significant. I don't care about the history of slavery and other crap, not my actions, not my problem. I support free speech and self-defense, it doesn't really get much deeper than that.

it means lot to me but looking back at history doesn't make me totally happy or proud or anything but makes me ashamed of all the wars n crimes this country started n contributed to..
