I love America and defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights against all enemies, both foreign and domestic (especially domestic). I'm a patriot. But I'm not loyal to any politician or administration, and I don't believe in American global superiority.

I think it's a patriot's duty to criticize what this country does, and has done, wrong. That's the only way this country will improve and progress.

Fuck those who disdain liberty, freedom, the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Fuck imperialism. We shouldn't be murdering, terrorizing, destroying other countries and cultures.

I just believe that there is a difference between 'not being patriotic' and 'committing treachery'. Both are not exact opposites of each other. There is a wide grey area between them. I am in that grey area.

All that is expected from me is to do anything but committing treachery towards my country. I do not need to be loyal to the country, but at the same time, I should not commit treachery.

I think I am patriotic. I joined the military when I was younger but ultimately failed the eye test. Still I believe in this country, try to support the American economy. I always vote in all elections and would fight to defend this country if I had to

A fair amount, but I don’t believe in American Exceptionalism. I love Independence Day and Veteran’s Day and regularly help out my local American Legion Post with community events such as the Memorial Day ceremony and love to listen to the stories of my friends who are members about their time in the service. However, I’m just not the “Back to back 2 world wars champs” “these colors don’t run” kind of American.

If you define Patriot as they did in the American Revolution being one who believes in Liberty I am very Patriotic.

If you define it as people around the world have been swayed to do it since as someone who simply supports their government. I would say mostly when the 2 definitions overlap.
