Yes. There is and they hide behind pretending it’s about Gaza OR split hairs saying they aren’t advocating antisemitism, but just anti-Zionism. There have been well documented genocidal acts all over for the last century and people are claiming they are simply speaking out against All genocide and that currently it’s only in Gaza (which it clearly is not). Yet, when I ask these people to explain their position about even a few more infamous genocides they literally have no idea. Their cherry picking of what to be outraged by leads me to believe it’s not the cause, it’s who they get to justify their hate for in the process.

Understandably there was this big taboo for decades after the Holocaust against even making silly jokes. In the late '90s, I noticed that pop culture started challenging that taboo, e. g. Family Guy, South Park. Then you had the rise of places like 4chan, and there was a resurgence of the far-right. The far-left has a lot of the same hangups as the far-right.

What I despise is the way Israel and its allies and apologists are using it to try to distract from the mass murder they are committing in Palestine, thus diluting the meaning of a very important label.

I think the number of anti semites has not really increased, but anti semites are now louder and more vocal about their views because they believe their thoughts are supported by their small scale social group. It's just like Trump did not invent racism, but he gave them the false belief you could be racist without being punished for it, so many secret racists stopped hiding and restraining their disgusting views. I believe that even if you meet a million evil immigrants, you have to assume every new person you meet is innocent until they do something bad. The bible says the worst sin you can possibly commit is to attack an innocent person with evil judgment or evil intention. It's not a casual or forgivable crime to hate somebody without case.

So real hate is simply being aware that the jews hate us. There is a rise of awareness of how Jews want to kill, enslave and steal from us. This sounds paranoid to me. I'm not crazy about the whole "God's chosen people" idea, and I do acknowledge that a lot of prominent people are Jewish, and that people in that religion tend to stick together and support each other.

But I think most Jews just want to live their lives, and conspiracy theories like the one you expressed were what led to many terrible pogroms, and eventually the Holocaust.

The people who supported Israel still do and the people who supported Palestine still do, it's just now the Palestine supporters are using the war as an excuse to be anti-Semetic, and also many Muslims who were neutral before and seemed like moderates are now starting to show their true colors.
