I'm sure there are plenty of places that discuss the history of Israel and how it was created (short version: the British controlled Palestine before WWII, and given the world's reaction to the horrors of the Holocaust, the Brits divided the territory and gave a chunk of that to the Jews, who turned it into the nation of Israel. The people who lost their land (as happened with many, many people all over the world in the fallout of WWII, when the winners redrew the maps) have refused to accept this - in part because both the Soviets and then the Muslims over the years have continually funded, armed, and encouraged the Palestinians to rise up and wipe out Israel.
in my opinion (and I don't hold myself out as an expert in these matters), it was a big mistake to leave the carve-outs of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip - leaving those territories surrounded by Israel just left seeds for more conflict. I get that it's more complicated than that, but in other ways, it really isn't.

if you're from there, it may be the self righteous tone such as you using the term "unsaved"... so some kind of weird religion fetisher.
