anything is an improvent. The best way to insure a fair election is paper ballots on election day with voter ID. This is not rocket science. This is how voting was when I was a kid.

I do, yes. The fact that democrats don't want elections to be more secure is very telling

Anything is possible with politicians
When I first started voting, years ago, you had two choices... go to your local polling place on election day or get an absentee ballot. There was no early voting. When you went to the poll, you proved who you were by signing your name in a book that had everyone's signature, which was confirmed by the poll workers, one from each party. You then voted, originally on a mechanical machine that tallied your vote, or years later on a paper ballot that was hand counted. There was rarely talk of voter fraud.
People claim that steps taken by the state of Georgia and other states make it harder to vote. I only ask one question... in what law does it say voting should be easy?
The Repugnants want voters to have to appear in person on the one day of the election or they do not get to vote. No early voting, no absentee ballots. That prevents all our military men ) and women) who are defending out country who are out of state due to their military duties from voting. To disenfranchise the very people who are risking their lives to protect our country is the pinnacle of unAmerican! Trump pressured Raffensperger to "find" non-existent votes to help him win, but Raffensperger stood up to Trump and did not help Trump overturn fair election results
Nobody cares about watermarks on paper, as long as they're not individual and designed to eliminate the secrecy of the ballot.
What they're complaining about are "provisions that would make it easier for people to file baseless, mass voter challenges", and that it "requires all advance and absentee ballots to be counted within an hour of the polls closing, changes ballot design, makes harmful changes for unhoused citizens, and creates unrealistic and burdensome requirements of election workers."
In other words, setting the scene for another attempt to steal the election by a mob. Hell, they already sidelined Raffensperger, so at least one (Republican) voice of reason has been removed from the process.
Water marks don't prevent people from requesting, filling out, or selectively returning ballots for other people.
As as much as 20% of the population admitted to doing in polls:

Perhaps they were not aware that this is illegal. When you take he ballot out of view of both parties you have no idea where the vote came from.I'm white, but I feel so bad how the Democrats USE blacks, just like they always have. It makes me want to puke. We all know why they don't want voter ID. It's not rocket science. Democrats can't compete in a fair game. They just can't.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/DCytgANu010If election security mandates a government picture ID for voting, I support it.
If election security ideally bans mail-in ballots I support it.Yes, here in Georgia we saw HORRENDOUS voter fraud in 2020. No one I know believes Biden actually won GA. Let's hope there is an improvement this time.
This is a state that made it illegal to pass out bottled water to people waiting in line to vote even if there was no electioneering going on.
eh. i'm indifferent. it's not gonna change anything either way.
What are they doing? Watermarks on ballots? That would be useful if there was a problem with people printing fake ballots. Which there isn't.
No, nor do most people in public positions. MLB moved the ASG out of Atlanta because of Georgia's decision
As long as people have no obstacles to vote.
It doesn't seem controversial to me.
It's Georgia, so probably not.
Yes I do
