Just because you come up with an idea does not mean you should have the right to own it. Agree or Disagree?

We have come to recognize intellectual property for exactly that reason. The previous argument suggested that if the idea person couldn’t actualize their IP, then someone who can should have the right to take it. The prevailing interpretation suggests that if the person who can actualize a concept couldn’t initially conceive it, then they own nothing until the rights to the concept are given, traded or sold to them.
I tend to agree.
