I was filling my tank with fuel today, and I was reflecting on the time I was able to fill my tank completely in my sedan for around $25 under the Trump presidency. Now, I can only halfway fill my tank for the same price.

I noticed fuel prices increased immediately upon Biden taking office. In addition, today, I saw an ad for an older 3 bedroom/2 bath house going for $400k!!! That is insane!!! Especially in East Tennessee! I am about to become engaged with my girlfriend soon, and I fear for our family's future. I am discussing with my mom about living in the upstairs portion of her house when I get married and form a family. The upstairs and downstairs are setup to be 2 separate, autonomous living areas.

Right now, my apartment rent is over $1,500 for a 1 bedroom!!! That doesn't include utilities and internet!

Insofar as it seems to have somehow destroyed people's ability to understand that the President doesn't set gas prices, we've ALL been harmed by it.

The president may not dictate fuel prices directly, but bad economic decisions can definitely contribute to them.

Yes- but in this case, the President's economic decisions have only a tiny fraction of those by the state governors on gas prices. Pretending otherwise is just pandering.

I do pay off my car and work two part time jobs while putting myself through college. I only have one parent who I love very much. I guess all of us 18 yr olds are just stupid and know nothing about the world... but guess what we vote!

Exactly. I turn 30 this year and make $76k. I make more than most of my peers, considering I live in the south and don't possess a college degree whatsoever. I have a girlfriend (she is my very first real girlfriend), but I am not married yet and have no dependents. I am still tight financially.

I make only around 19 K a year... yikes lots of peanut butter and jelly. Hopefully that will improve when I get out of school

I wouldn't count on much improvement man unless you have a good boost or good savings. The more elite jobs are very competitive. Tech, for example, it is not uncommon to see 1000+ applicants for one job. Everyone always talks about unemployment, but politicians don't always take underemployment into account.

You will probably do well if you pursue a career as a physician of some sort, a nurse practitioner, or a physician assistant. Anything else, it may be hit or miss.
