Do you do anything to honor our troops on Memorial Day?

I usually visit my father's grave but I got really busy yesterday and didn't make it. He knows that I was thinking of him though
Well, I have been one, and I respect any one in uniform.

I always remember my ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, WW I, WW II, and Korean War. Especially those who died in service to our country.
Remembrance days are ridiculous to me. If we had to honor the deaths of everyone who fought for peace and freedom throughout history, we'd be honoring non-stop.
It's honestly better to just live our lives and respect the sacrifice they made. I know if I died for the sake of humanity, I would not want people honoring me every year. Might be nice to have my wife and maybe kids remember me and see my grave once in a while, but other than that I don't care.
I would have loved to put a flag on my deceased boyfriend's memorial but his brother just had him cremated and is in his brothers house. I don't even know where he lives.
Patrick spent 10 years in the U. S. Navy. But I am celebrating with my ❤️ heart his memory.
Rest In Peace Patrick 💔💕😘💖
I think a lot about my father who was a combat infantryman and had terrible PTSD and I think a lot about all the veterans I have cared for who also had terrible PTSD. I think a lot about the rich people in this society who are the reason that we have these terrible wars.
nope... we don't celebrate it in our families
but... we lost a couple to the lack of care and humanity from the US government towards veterans
Yes I volunteer as a Safety Marshall at parades,,,
They're government-sponsored thugs advancing corporate interests overseas.
They had one basic job: to die for their bench-warming overlords... and they failed at that.
They're pathetic.
Are those dudes?
You might be the only one who noticed lol
I don’t celebrate.
I fly our flag proudly.
I am a vet so. . .
