recent news is russia is making more artillery bombs than nato.

today in news russia claims it makes 3 times as much as nato! admittedly nobody can check and we caught russia lying about the quality and abilities of its t90 and t80 tanks... they might be exagerating or lying so does this worry you?

2, how will this impact the ukraine war with russia having plenty of artillery to bomb ukraine troops and even civilian centers... while ukraine allies are not producing much of those? ukraine is rationing and not using its artillery as much as it needs... meanwhile bumbling biden sent millions of dollars worth of cheap mortars... to... ISRAEL! instead of ukraine. so does any of this worry you?

First of all, an artillery shell is not an aerial bomb, these terms don't mix. Also, the Western countries are ramping up their production as well, with Germany and the United States producing almost ten times their prewar amounts in 2024/2025. Ukraine already confirmed that for the first time in this war, all Ukrainian artillery units have reported sufficient ammunition!

Most importantly, this is a war of attrition, the Ukrainian military has to destroy Russian artillery systems faster then they can produce them and they are obviously successful in it, with ~10.000 of various systems destroyed. The Ukrainian forces have to keep that up, then Russia can have all the shells in the world, laying around useless.

That is not surprising russia like the US has access to basically all the natural resources and can manufacture everything themselves. Most nato countries do not have access to all natural resources

Not really. Pre-WWII America wasn't scaled up for a world war thus why we didn't participate immediately, none the less when it was necessary America became the largest industrial power in the world. America has the potential to be far more industrially productive and can do when it's game time, but we're not going to do that for fucking Ukraine. Ukraine is a criminal operation by corrupt politicians, not something the American people support.
