He’s now officially a convicted felon. Guilty on ALL CHARGES. All conservatives now support and vote for a felon to be our president. Unbelievable.

It’s a wild time to be alive, for sure, haha

I never really had any personal interest in this trial. I’m more just happy to see that “anybody can get it” in terms of legal consequences, that’s big, and hopefully a strong message to any other bad actors out there who have some semblance of power in governmental affairs.

One of my biggest issues with “law & order” isn’t law & order itself, but rather its selective application. Street crime (and rally only violent street crime) is sCaRy👻 but white collar crime is just “business as business is done.”

And the reality is that most of the time, while not necessarily in a singular dramatic event, white collar crime is what’s holding back people from upward economic mobility. It’s easy to be like “oh my god, someone was murdered/robbed/assaulted/etc!”, but we get caught up in the drama of it all.

It’s not that it’s not a problem or can’t be addressed, I’m just saying that we come with SO MUCH energy for street crime, and little to none for EGREGIOUS business crime going that affects the flow of money from the top down that the whole Reaganomics model said was supposed to happen. That’s really, really impactful, generationally so.

So to see someone with as high an office as Trump held be even charged, let alone convicted, EVEN IF there is a little “take THAT, douchebag” to it, is reassuring. I mean, it’s not like the charges were fabricated. Michael Cohen already did time for it. So if he can go to the cooler, so can Trump. Detractors want Biden in jail? Go for it….. but you have to come correct, WITH BONA FIDE EVIDENCE, and win the case not in a court of public opinion, but an actual court of law. Then I’ll tell you lock him up too, and get cracking on the next corrupt motherfucker.

But don’t bring a charge just to retaliate and put him through it, come with that bona fide evidence. THAT’S how you “drain the swamp”, LEGITIMATELY hold people accountable who have historically skated. Sorry your guy who championed the whole thing turned out to be crooked too, MAGA….. but you were on the right track, just the wrong train😂😂😂 Still waiting on Hunter’s laptop though, this better be good, lmfao

But yeah, no real victory lapping needed, just justice being served as it was intended. Everyone who already loved Trump will say it’s bullshit, but we could’ve predicted that. They telegraph literally everything, even election fraud pre-claims in like August 2020, lmao, they’re terrible liars.

And of course we’ll hear “This will bring about a Trump victory!” But remember if there was a mistrial or not guilty verdict, they’d say the exact same thing. You just can’t take anything said by that entire camp at all seriously, no matter how noisy the message delivery may be.

Definitely interested to see how this all plays out, how the RNC responds, etc. Trump could still win because we have an enormous population of, to put it politely…”flawed” people in America, who believe that the goal of reaching the top in The American Dream is infinitely more important than who you step on to achieve it, however futile their aspirations realistically are, but just that hope that they get peddled.

So, I’m fearful of that, more just as unwelcome-but-anticipated confirmation of who my fellow Americans actually are at their cores. BUT…. a President ruling from jail is a helluva storyline, albeit a sad reality😂

And this is "unbelievable" despite the support of people like Ronald Reagan, who committed high treason while in office, or Obama, who openly allied with a hate movement and implement a policy that by itself constituted a war crime?

I thought I'd be happier, but honestly I don't feel happy at all. As you said, conservatives are still going to support a felon as their nominee instead of choosing someone who is more qualified and not a convicted felon. It frustrates me that conservatives can't give me a better quality candidate to vote for.
