+1 yIDGAF if hunter is convicted. Did he do the crime? Did he get a fair due process trial? Fuck him if he fucked up. Crime is crime. And while I'm at it, that fuckwad bob menendez from NJ with his 60 gold bars Egyptian spy traitor needs to go to prison for life too!! I'm consistent. Trump too. Crime is crime.

@DrPepper12
Since when has it ever been true that "Crime is crime"? Nearly every law on the books and every case of a person allegedly breaking such law is questionable.
Indeed this is the propose of politics and elections. To question the truthfulness of not only how but what is done.
Otherwise we would just have a dictator telling us all who is and isn't as criminal. - +1 y
@monorprise very bleak and hobbesian. I'm more of a Voltaire or Marat kind of guy
- +1 y
@DrPepper12
It only illustrates the instability of your position that you should claim to take a french view of the nature of laws That you should take a french view of the subject of law and rights. What are they on their 5th republic now? - +1 y
@monorprise Voltaire was a towering enlightenment thinker. The fact that he's French is immaterial
- +1 y
@DrPepper12 The effect of his ideas most influential upon the french is not a great endorsement of their merit. If we can say them to be of consequence in equal merit as the English thinker's ideas.
- +1 y
It means he's guilty.

5.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Well, he has been. The important thing is that the president will not pardon him, and that the president left the Trump AG that was investigating his son in office (against all precedent; presidents appoint their own AGs when they come in to office).
Respect for the law.

You’re projecting. I’m quite chill.
I’ve seen this coming for years now. I’ve predicted it in many forums, including here on G@G.
You’ve still got your blinders on. It’s kinda cute. Ell oh ell! - +1 y
@DrPepper12 President Biden has been lying from the first second he took office and he and THE DEMOCRATIC COMMUNIST PARTY OF AMERICA have been trying to destroy this nation and nothing and no one but Trump has been indicted and convicted
- +1 y
@onedarkcloud Many, many of the Trump cohorts have been convicted and served time for their crimes. So your last sentence was an outright lie. And it has been Trump and his party of crooked helpers who has been lying since he avoided the draft by claiming he has bone spurs, but paraded all over with his ROTC flags. Then that stupid game show he had. He is the one who should have been fired! Since then he has been working on tearing this country down.
- +1 y
@onedarkcloud intentionally trying to destroy the nation? C'mon man as Biden would say! It's just a policy disagreement! We can disagree and that okay
- +1 y
@Red_Arrow no lies detected
- +1 y
@Red_Arrow be quiet boy. You sound like a standard liberal commie. If trump was trying to "tear this country down" why was the economy better under trump. Why was America in a time of absolute peace for the first time in decades. Why were companies building factories in the US instead of offloading the work to a bunch of foreign nations. Meanwhile liberals regularly admit on camera that they are trying to destroy America. Not to mention liberals and democrats have literally never been on the right side of history. Democrats were for slavery started a fuckin Civil War over it. Democrats created the kkk, gave drugs to minority communities in the late 60s, democrats support Palestine. Every possible wrong side of an issue there is democrats are front and center.
For anyone who doubts the reality of the liberal terrorist party I welcome you to undeniable facts.

@JacobJordan you are WAY TOO ANGRY AND MISINFORMED to have a dialogue with. Have a great weekend, brought to you by the "commie" labor movement!
- +1 y
Did you dare look at the links? He wasn’t “too angry and misinformed” to drop valid sources. He’s the only one who did. By comparison, all you did was cop out. Especially since he was outgunned 2-1 and both of you claimed he was lying, where are your sources?
- +1 y
They don't have any lol they never do. Has always been that way. I provide sources from left leaning media proving even their media is against them and they either move the goalposts or try and change the subject shift the focus etc.
- +1 y
@DrPepper12 and yet you have no sources to refute or prove otherwise. I even used left leaning media sources and you still getting thrashed. I know you didn't bother to click the links because you are a coward and deep down you know that liberalism and USA don't mix
- +1 y
While I agree the flaw in your logic is that the sources I used are left leaning media sources. Not right leaning. I utilized liberal and Democrat biased sources specifically because I knew someone would foolishly make the claim you did.
- +1 y
@onedarkcloud "Communist Party". LMFAO you moron. There has been no such thing since the 1930's you idiot.
- +1 y
I didn't say "communist party"...
- +1 y
@JacobJordan You may notice that my comment was preceded by: @onedarkcloud, indicating who it was intended for. Have you changed your name here and I didn't realize it?
- +1 y
True. Though he also preceeded the term "communist party" with the word "democrat" making the quoting out of context which is a common ploy but ultimately ineffective to those capable of reading.
- +1 y
Well of course you think not mate... you are not capable of reading hence why you misquoted him in an attempt to misconstrue what he was saying. It is the second most common tactic in a liberals arsenal
- +1 y
@JacobJordan Why was the economy better under Trump? It wasn't! I don't need to listen to the lies coming out of the mouths of liars trying to make Trump sound better. Take a look at what Forbes has to say - www.forbes.com/.../?sh=7f432d4c644b
"(D) ata from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that the rate of job openings to the number of people employed has been at 5.3% for the past three months, compared to 4.3% from December 2019 to February 2020. The rate of job openings is now still more than 20% higher than it was before the pandemic, giving workers more opportunities for economic mobility. At the same time, the rate of layoffs was 1% for the past three months, or more than 20% lower than in the winter of 2020, according to BLS data. Workers now face fewer threats to their job security than was the case four years ago."
"The current job stability now also followed a longer period of labor market tranquility than was the case prior to the pandemic. By February 2024, the unemployment rate had been below 4% for 25 months in a row, the longest such stretch in more than 50 years. In comparison, the unemployment rate had been below 4% for 13 months before the pandemic hit the labor market in March 2020."
Your links? The right winger posing as a liberal was saying that he knew the Democrats are trying to tear down the country, because he was one. If you had a brain, you would have seen through that in an instant.
The Winchester star article looks like the reported on the GOP but change the references to liberals. - +1 y
Trump might not have started any wars, but he massively inflamed existing ones—and came close to catastrophic new ones.
Let’s review the record. Despite inveighing against “endless wars,” Trump massively escalated the country’s existing wars in multiple theaters, leading to skyrocketing casualties. In Afghanistan, he substantially upped the amount of airstrikes, leading to a 330 percent increase in civilian deaths. In Yemen, he escalated both U. S. counterterrorism activities and support for the devastating Saudi-led war against the Houthis. According to the United Kingdom’s Bureau of Investigative Journalism, there were 2,243 drone strikes in just the first two years of Trump’s presidency, compared with 1,878 in the entire eight years of the Obama administration.
Trump also came very close to tweeting the country into a nuclear war with North Korea in late 2017 and early 2018, a completely self-inflicted incident that seems to have been bizarrely memory-holed. Trump “didn’t merely threaten to attack North Korea if it possessed the ability to strike the U. S.,” wrote the Intercept’s Jon Schwarz. “He ordered the Pentagon to develop new plans, over the resistance of then-Secretary of Defense James Mattis, to do so.” According to former Pentagon official and Asia security expert Van Jackson, who wrote a book about the crisis, “The world was closer … to nuclear war, at that time than any time, since the Cuban Missile Crisis. And it was totally avoidable.”
- +1 y
In 2018, Trump bowed to Washington’s neoconservative hawks and withdrew from a working nonproliferation agreement with Iran, resulting in Iran scaling up both its provocative activities in the region and its nuclear program. According to current U. S. assessments, Iran could now make enough fissile for one nuclear bomb in under two weeks, should it decide to do so. Under the agreement Trump abandoned, it would’ve taken Iran at least a year.
The list goes on: Trump put the U. S. on a path to “great-power competition” with China, incited a failed coup in Venezuela, and increased support for reckless, repressive clients around the world. Indeed, Trump was seen as such a dangerous interventionist that Congress passed the first war powers resolution in history to try to end his support for the Yemen war. Less than a year later, Congress passed a second resolution to brush him back from a potential war with Iran after he OK’d the assassination of Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander Qassem Soleimani. Both measures passed with Republican support, making opposition to Trump’s militarism one of the very few areas of bipartisan agreement during his administration. - +1 y
@Red_Arrow post sources libtard if you have any otherwise piss off cockroach

Per the update: it’s not like we had a stellar justice system BEFORE the democrats corrupted it for political gain. You can’t imagine that there’s ANY chance that a rich, powerful, popular white man could get away with crime? I think you’re being willfully dense. Even if the jurors haven’t already been manipulated, there’s no way that judge risks her life and livelihood just to have every democrat in the country claim she’s corrupt because of who appointed her. Hunter Biden is as safe and sound as he’s ever been. NOTHING is coming for him but more jabs from conservatives.
- +1 y
YOU IDIOT IT WAS BANNED IN 1950 during the Mc Carthy Communist investigations BUT NEVER WENT COMPLETELY AWAY it has been festering while waiting to rear its ugly head again as it has in the last 5 years. Please engage your brain before you put your pen in gear
27.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The real question is what if Hunter is not convicted of a crime. It will reinforce the fact that we have two standards of justice. One for conservatives and another for people who have the last name Biden
19 Reply- +1 y
@Red_Arrow No, there is plenty of evidence that he lied on the gun permit application and that he illegally disposed of the handgun. Most of this will probably be excluded from the democrat court. He will not do a day in prison.
- +1 y
Just because you assert something and therefore predict it doesn't mean it's going to come true. If he is convicted then it's fine. That means that the justice system worked correctly. If he isn't convicted then that is also fine. It would have been fine with you if Trump hadn't been convicted, but he was because he did the crimes. The same logic applies to Hunter. Keep in mind that no matter what the hell Hunter did or didn't you that has nothing to do with his father. Much as you wish that weren't true.
- +1 y
I think he will be convicted, but there are plenty of other reasons that he might not be that are unrelated to anything in Trump's case. There is a HUGE amount of difference between the two case, and comparing as you are trying to do is simply a false equivalence. The is a very substantial difference between filling out a for incorrectly and trying to alter the results of an election.
