Hunter Biden is the victim of a show trial. What should we do?

As we democrats all know, every American should die or face financial ruin to help our dear leader Joe R. Biden, also known as god. He is the most outstanding president since 1776 and he made america great in so many ways. No other president has done so much for america since Benjamin Franklin, except maybe Napoleon.

Now his son is being unfairly targeted by a communist, republican witch hunt. A show trial is underway right now in Delaware, a very much pro-trump state. He's done nothing wrong and he should have presidential immunity due to his father being president. Republicans: cease all legal proceedings against Hunter Biden or it will be a breaking point for us! Fellow democrats: what should we do?

Harass witnesses, judges and member of the jury?

Get a second mortgage and/or postpone indefinitely a much needed surgery to send loads of cash to Biden?

Get angry and threaten civil war for the 100th time?

Ignore every single detail and fact about the proceedings and declare it a show trial anyway?

Accuse wookies of setting up a secret gaspacho to impose communism and take away our freedom?

All of the above!

Of course, it's not a show trial!

Think this through.

The Justice Department of the Federal Government is prosecuting Hunter Biden. That is the same Justice Department that is under the Executive Branch which is headed by his father, the President. In a sense, Joe Biden is prosecuting his son and could, in principle, stop it if he wants.

But he won't. That's the difference between Trump and Biden. If Trump'a son was indicted on Federal charges (which may happen because of the electoral fraud attempt), Trump would order the DOJ not to prosecute. Biden respects the rule of law and won't get involved.

Hunter is guilty too. He pretty much admitted it in his autobiography and that's why the DOJ went after him.

Hunter should take a plea deal.

He did take a plea deal, then Republican politicians kicked up a fuss...

@goaded The judge shot down the plea deal, rightfully so. After questioning by the judge, it became apparent that there was a mismatch between what the prosecution expected from the deal and what the defense did. Due to the mismatch and then neither side willing to resolve, the plea deal came to an end.

Both sides agreed to the first part in court, eventually. The judge wasn't sure about the gun part, since the idea that she should determine if Hunter was sticking to his side of the bargain or not was of dubious legality.

We all know that he will skate on this. It is an open and shut case but Hunter has home field advantage and his last name is Biden. The fix is in.
